Question:	Does the small carrier fit under the seat on the airplane
Answer:	I’m not sure if this will be helpful to you, however, it has not chaffed my dog, but I only put it on him when we go for walks or car rides. And even then it depends on where we’re walking. I can tell you the straps have kind of a padded felt on the skin side, it’s not really thick, but it seems that would at least partially triage that issue. Not that you asked this, but, be sure to actually measure your dog to get the right size. I have a very lean, healthy 80lbs bloodhound Mix, and neither the large nor the medium fit him correctly. I bought both sizes considering his neck measurement called for medium and torso measurement called for large. That is very likely due to his odd proportions and not the harness itself, but the large does seem very large.
Question:	When carrying the cat in it, does the bottom part stay flat? I'm picturing my cat getting "rolled up" in it as I'm carrying it. Thanks
Answer:	This is an excellent question, Sara! When using this harness in the car, your dog will be able to sit or stand comfortably. You can slide the seat belt through the gray loop on top of the harness or you can clip the adjustable car control strap to the harness and slide the seat belt through the loop on the end of this strap.

Answer:	I wouldn't do it. It would accommodate 1 cat, in comfort, at 10-12 pounds, in my opinion, long enough for a visit to the vet. Would not fit under an airline seat.
Question:	What are the dimensions of the hole? Is it too big for a parakeet to get through
Answer:	The dimensions of the oval holes are approximately 1&1/4 in x 5/8 in. My lineolated parakeet does not fit through the holes (pictures available in my review). As a previous American parakeet/budgie owner, I don't think even a young parakeet would fit through the holes, however a finch, canary, or parrotlet may.

Question:	Is it a solid bottom, so if the cat pees it wont get everywhere
Answer:	Yes, the bottom is stiff, plus there is a pretty stiff, removeable, carpet-like pad that fits into the bottom. One of my cats likes it so much he sleeps in it all the time. Even my vet asked where I got it! I highly recommend this carrier.

Answer:	Each airline has SPECIFIC regulations for carrier sizes. Most labeled airline approved are not in cabin approved. The height for more airlines is 8.5 inches tall. This is 11inches tall. It would be rejected at the counter typically when measured.
Question:	Weight of large carrier? Weight of medium carrier
Answer:	I do not know the actual weight but I have the large and without a cat in the carrier it doesn't hardly weigh anything. It would be like carrying an empty overnight bag/or backpack if it is even that heavy. It is very light weight. My cat is a year old now and still fits in the large carrier but he does not have as much room. I am not sure what your wanting to put in the carrier but I would recommend going with the large size.
