Answer:	4 pieces total. Base, bottom pole, center grey piece, top pole with ball attached. Base connects with a screw, washer and nut to the bottom pole. Bottom pole connects through the grey part with a double sided screw to the top pole. Easy to assemble and very sturdy.

Answer:	I have the same problem. Post won't stay sturdy and straight on the flimsy bottom. Screw is in tight

These have honestly been the best scratching post trees I've ever owned. Their sturdiness is a huge plus, over the single posts which always seem tippy and a turnoff to cats. Plus the two flat surfaces for sleeping. Once in a while, I spray it all with spray catnip and the fun ramps up!

Answer:	It cannot be strapped to your wrist to get the environmental temperature. You'll see your skin temp. I take mine off my wrist and float it in ice water and hot tubs. It takes 7 to 15 minutes to equilibrate to its new environment.

Question:	Does this ship from China? I ordered and tracking has been super wonky
Answer:	I purchased mine almost exactly 2 years ago. Wore the watch pretty much on a daily basis. Today the band split (on one side of the holes). I was able to fix it using a mini stapler (I also used a black marker to conceal the staple itself; worked out pretty good) but I don't think it's going to last; I already see tiny cracks in other parts of the band, esp. when you bend the band backwards. Paid $60 for the watch, and the (Casio) replacement band is $15. I'm on the fence about this one but I will probably get the replacement band.

Question:	Is there a warranty on the kitty city xl wide premium scratching post? i mean it has some pretty big claims, like cats not being able to wear it out
Answer:	This is very durable. Make sure everything is screwed in tight. Very easy to assemble. I have stood on it sat on it and climbed to the top and I weight 130lbs my cat is 12lbs and he jumps all over it
Question:	are the holes on the bottom recessed to where no screws stick out and can scratch wood floors
Answer:	My kitten uses the bottom ladder the most out of all the ladders, but only if he is going to sleep in the bottom box. My two cats, as well as my kitten mostly just jump from level to level. They sometimes use the top ladder to go up or down, but then they mostly just jump down to the floor. It does not effect the use of the tree though, they love it!
Question:	What is the diameter of the top perch and the post itself? Thanks
Answer:	The base measures 24" x 28", the widest area of the tree measures 24" x 34.5", since the bottom hideaway house sticks out over the base. The ramp to the bottom house adds 10" depending on what side of the house you place the ramp, as there are two entries. So I say it is possible that the tree can occupy maximum of 45" of space on one side, but only 24" on the other.
Question:	Can you get refills
Answer:	We have 8 cats - the smallest is 8 pounds, & two are 20 pounds. We’re getting ready to buy another of these trees because after about two and a half years it’s about worn out. It has survived constant gymnastics by all the kitties and has never tipped nor broken. The kitties love to scratch the posts, and eventually the sisal comes off, then they start scratching the cardboard tubes which ultimately give out. So basically, just much active use has lead to normal wear & tear. It is very well made which is why we’re getting the exact same thing again. Highly recommend this tree!

Answer:	There are 3 , and you have to give all 3 over a 3 day time frams. One daily per your pet's weight. For cats -the yellow box which is 1 gram packet each, will treat a cat up to 10 lbs, once daily. Dogs the same...but it is not for kittens or puppies.

Answer:	Probably greed as more and more people with cancer are using it so they will pay what ever if they think it may help.
Question:	What are the dimensions
Answer:	Hi. Let me start off by saying: I'm not a vet. I'm a dog breeder. You didnt mention the age of the puppies. Puppies should be dewormed with a pyrantel based wormer (which nemex is) at 2 weeks, 4 weeks, and 6 weeks. On the 8 wk mark, some deworm with pyrantel again. I use Panacur C, which is a fenbendazole dewormer. It is a much stronger dewormer (not even recommended for use in puppies less than 6 weeks or 5 lbs of weight). I'm not sure what you're seeing that makes you think the puppy's dewormer isn't working? Giving the fenbendazole dewormer after a 2 wk period will not be more harmful than giving it without the pyrantel based one. However if the puppy is very young, or has compromised health I would bring it for a vet check, to check for parasites. This requires a stool sample, which you can bring in, or they can get at the vet.If you're referring to an older puppy, and have noticed worm problems like scooting or worms in the stool, then unless it has compromised health or is under 5 lbs, I would feel free to use the Panacur C 3 day regimen, dosed carefully, knowing it can be a little tough on their delicate tummies-- (read: diarrhea, tummy upset). I hope this helps, I've tried to cover all the possibilities. I would not deworm a dog more than a year old with this, or any dewormer, unless I had them vet checked for heart worms. If they've got a serious problem, deworming too quickly can be harmful. Generally you would also deworm with pyrantel at 12 and 16 weeks, and then get on a heartworm regimen with your vet and reduce deworming to once or twice a year. This is all in addition to regular advised vaccinations.One final note, other than when they're tiny puppies, at 2,4,6,8,12 & 16 wks old.. it is advised by a vet to get a parasite check every 6 months instead of just seasonal deworming. This is a new thing they've started to reduce deworming when not necessary, and to combat the chance of a development of a "superworm", a drug resistant worm. Just like with overuse of antibiotics. Just like with anything, if you're in doubt, you can always call your vet's office, they don't charge to ask a question. :) Good luck!

Answer:	I have used it on both my cats and it worked fine. Didn't bother the cat and cleared up her parasite infection. Be sure to dose it correctly by following the weight chart. My cats would not eat it when it was put on their wet food, so I made a slurry of it and squirted it into their mouths, followed up quickly with a squirt of clear water. The both took the dosage with minimal fighting.
