User questions & answers

Question:	What is the size/ DIMENSIONS of the bottom Condo/ House? I have a large two year old Tabby, who's still growing. He likes to hide under or in things when he sleep. He's at least 13 to 14lbs now. I want to make sure he can fit into this house before I purchase this tree. I have another house here, but he barely fits inside
Answer:	I have a 8 year old Bombay cat who weighs about 16 to 17 lbs and gets in lays in it with no problems. He likes it and even the top even though it doesn't seem like he'd fit, he manages to get in it and lays with part in and part out. After putting together I was afraid I wasted my money due to the dimensions of the box and how big my cat was, but he loves it and hasn't had any problems with it at all.
Question:	Mine keeps coming loose...any suggestions on keeping it together Mr.Odd loves his tree
Answer:	If its a threaded bolt, nut or stud coming loose: Blue loctite on all the threads if you ever plan on disassembling it. Red loctite if you NEVER plan on disassembling it. Or some other sort of thread locker, those are the only ones I have used. Put a dab of it on the male end around the circumference of the bolt or stud (or read the directions).
Question:	My cat is a long kitty, possibly a Maine Coon but only weighs 10#, will the box be big enough to fit him comfortably
Answer:	oh yeah definitely, the one on the bottom is decent sized, my 22lb cat fits in that one comfortably, the one up top is a little smaller, my other cat weighs about 11 and she sleeps in there
Question:	Will this be sturdy enough for a 20 lb Maine Coon cat
Answer:	I have a 15lb Maine Coon mix, and 15lb unknown mix, They are both 2 years old and very playful, they love this tree and the perches! My Main Coon mix is too large to fit inside the top cubby hole, and the perches are kind of a small space for him, but when he curls up (as he is want to do!) he has no issues! The only problem for our boys is them wrestling over the highest perch whilst on the tree. As in, they fight while up there to try and knock the other off. After a few months of this we have had to tighten up the screws a bit because they were getting wobbly. However the base is plenty sturdy and my cats love this tree! Honestly for this price you cannot beat it, other trees I've seen this size (and some even less sturdy) go for about $200.
