Answer:	Well, yes & no. They are exactly the picture shown, but the quality of the color in person is slightly different than picture... In pic the colors look more 'sophisticated'- particularly the purple looks almost magenta here. In real life the colors are more 'hot'- kind of 'younger'. Really purple, neon blue, neon green (this writes very light), & hot pink.

Answer:	I have two cats and the smaller cat (9 lbs)just loves this tower. She literally lives at the top. My other cat (approx. 13-15 lbs) has never climbed it. I don't know why he doesn't, but it would be a tight space for him at the top. He does use it all the time for scratching and it seems very stable for that. I love it because it has no carpet and is very easy to clean cat hair off of plus doesn't shred apart like the carpet ones have. I personally love it, but for a large cat it may be small, especially the top shelf.

Answer:	Mine did not smell when we got it. Have you checked with a flooring specialist it may be the carpet used or the glue. They may be able to give you a solution. How do your cats react to the stench? I would exchange it for another unit, it could be that shipment.

Answer:	I am not sure, but it is a good buy for the money. Very easy to put together and my cat loves it. It has two boxes for her to hide in and it has nine levels for her to set on and three hanging mice for her to play with.Hope this had helped. SKM

Answer:	The condo weights 40 kg, so it is pretty sturdy. I think my cat is lighter than 20 lb, though. He went on the hammock, and the rods that are holding the hammock are not super straight anymore. Now Timmy (my cat) doesn't go on the hammock anymore, I don't know why. Probably the hammock would be too delicate for your cat, but other than that I think your cat will love it! My cat doesn't go in the houses either, but he loves the little mice, and he climbs or jumps on the condo a number of times a day. He also loves to sleep in the little nest that is at the top of the condo (I don't know how he is comfortable in there, because although Timmy is not fat he's definitively too big for it, but he rolls up and sleeps very tight in there. The condo is 2 m tall, so it's pretty tall. The houses are large enough, expecially the top one (it has 2 nice windows). Maybe your cat would not have too much space in the bottom house, but cats love small spaces, they love to fit everywhere, so I think it will like the houses (I don't know why mine doesn't, once I put inside there all his toys, and he went, throw them out and never went in the house anymore... Question:	How durable is this product
Answer:	I didn't see a brand name on the box or the tree. I have two of these and my cats LOVE them. The only con is that the little mice come off, but they are easy to reattach.
Question:	Did any of your cats actually used the ladder
Answer:	The height is 72" in feet around 6ft. and it weight around 68lbs. I hope that answers your question.
Question:	Can someone who owns the tree could confirm that if it is really 50-inch wide (including the space that the ramp takes)? Or is it less than that? TY
Answer:	I have a 13lb and a 10lb cat. It holds either of them but they rarely use the boxes. They prefer the top tiers and each if them fits with ample room. Had the cat tree over a year and it's suffered abuse from 2 cats, a 2-3yr old and a dog and is just now becoming wobbly.
Question:	My cat is a fatty (17lbs). He also thinks he is a gymnast (launches himself off of...everything). Will fattycat gymnastics be an issue
Answer:	I have 2 15-17 pounders who use it. One top end of one cardboard tubes did break and I replaced it with PVC, this was fairly early on too, and I broke another myself when I fell and was foolish enough to grab it. So it could break under your smaller guys too if they use it a lot. Mine kind of hang off the platform as they go up and down which strained the tube. The third has been fine but it is jammed in the corner and partly under a small ledge so it has extra support.As for tipping though I have had no problems.

Question:	Is there a warranty on the kitty city xl wide premium scratching post? i mean it has some pretty big claims, like cats not being able to wear it out
Answer:	This is very durable. Make sure everything is screwed in tight. Very easy to assemble. I have stood on it sat on it and climbed to the top and I weight 130lbs my cat is 12lbs and he jumps all over it
Question:	are the holes on the bottom recessed to where no screws stick out and can scratch wood floors
Answer:	My kitten uses the bottom ladder the most out of all the ladders, but only if he is going to sleep in the bottom box. My two cats, as well as my kitten mostly just jump from level to level. They sometimes use the top ladder to go up or down, but then they mostly just jump down to the floor. It does not effect the use of the tree though, they love it!
Question:	What is the diameter of the top perch and the post itself? Thanks
Answer:	The base measures 24" x 28", the widest area of the tree measures 24" x 34.5", since the bottom hideaway house sticks out over the base. The ramp to the bottom house adds 10" depending on what side of the house you place the ramp, as there are two entries. So I say it is possible that the tree can occupy maximum of 45" of space on one side, but only 24" on the other.
Question:	Can you get refills
Answer:	We have 8 cats - the smallest is 8 pounds, & two are 20 pounds. We’re getting ready to buy another of these trees because after about two and a half years it’s about worn out. It has survived constant gymnastics by all the kitties and has never tipped nor broken. The kitties love to scratch the posts, and eventually the sisal comes off, then they start scratching the cardboard tubes which ultimately give out. So basically, just much active use has lead to normal wear & tear. It is very well made which is why we’re getting the exact same thing again. Highly recommend this tree!
