Answer:	I have two of these beds for my past lab and current lab in the 52" size. The second one I purchased I tried to go smaller with the 40" and had to send it back because it's significantly smaller than the 52". Go with the 52".

Answer:	I hope you were not satisfied with the answer "made in USA". Yes it was CONSTRUCTED in the USA but where did those imported products that were used in the construction made? Maybe China? I did not see a response from the manufacturer in answer to this question. I understood the way it was phrased "Made in the USA with imported materials" to mean that the manufacturer did not want to specifically name the places the materials it is made with to be revealed. Clever play on words but read between the lines!

Answer:	Mine came today and is pretty true to size. Unfortunately I’m an idiot and should have noticed my dog is over 4 twelve inch tiles long laying down not counting tail. He can use this as a head pillow like humans use a pillow.

Answer:	My dog has had the same problems in the past, so I know what you mean. I heard that 'KONG' beds are supposed to be indestructible-try telling that to my 2 year old 100 lb. male black lab! He tore that bed up in less than 24 hrs. so don't waste your money on it (the upside was that the brand has a warranty and return policy) If your dog is still in their 'puppy stage', then I strongly suggest waiting until he/she grows out of it until spending more money on a bed that will probably get shredded. I also think that flat crate pads without the stuffing inside might help. It gives the dog warmth and softness without the feeling of stuffing inside, which leads to the chewing of the bed-because whatever's inside that bed they want to get out. Answer:	Yes the piping is different from the main bed color. And no, you cannot remove the cover. It is all one piece. I have washed mine a few times, just need to shake out the lumps after it's done.

Answer:	I have a 75 lb black lab. I bought a 40" for the living room and the 52" for the bedroom. She fits snugly in the 40" but in the 52" she has extra room. I would go with the 52" for a dog that size. The picture they use looks like it might be the 52" size.
Question:	can this go into the washing machine
Answer:	Yes, it won't destroy the bed. But when I tried washing it at home it held too much water even with the spin cycle on high. I had to take the big sopping mess out side to drain out on some of my patio chairs before even thinking about putting it in the drier! Probably best to take it to a laundromat like a lot of people have mentioned.
Question:	Does it have a zipper or the whole bed gets washed
Answer:	The whole bed gets washed -- but I haven't found it to be a problem. I have the large, 40" size bed and can shove the whole thing in my top-load washing machine. I just run it on heavy duty. It doesn't dry well in the dryer, so I just let it air dry for a day. Good as new. The only thing is that the poofiness in the middle gets a little squashed, but that's okay; that happens anyway with the dog laying on it.
