Answer:	You can, but you have to disconnect the legs and basically take it apart to do so. To make life easier we just but a fleece blanket on top of it and wash that once a week.

Answer:	It would probably be better than nothing for a short period of time outdoors, like 1/2 hour. The canopy hooks onto the legs which means all four sides are not connected to the canopy. The base of the cot is more suited for warm weather because it has a screen like bottom so air can flow through. I believe this outdoor pet bed and shelter is more suited for summer where an animal can be protected from the sun.

Question:	Can you wash this in a machine? I see it says wipe off or spray off but I need to be able to wash it
Answer:	I bought this and returned it, it was to replace my Chihuahua's smelly old heated bed. This one did not heat up that well, I would look for a better one if heat is what your wanting. The heating pad on this one was disappointing. The triangular structure was well made but the heating pad, was weak.

Answer:	The exterior dimensions are18.5” W x 14.5”D x 14”H and the interior dimensions are 18"W x 14"D x 14"H.

Answer:	The shelter has a flexible inner insulating layer, between 1/4 and 1/2 inch thick, covered with fabric. The only openings are the door, which comes with a removable plastic cover the cat can push in/out for access, and a small hole in the rear for the warming pad electrical cord to exit. The rear half of the pad has a water-proof warmer; the front half doesn't. The pad produces mild warmth when powered, but nothing like a home heating pad. So I feel comfortable that it protects the outdoor cat that adopted us against wind, blowing rain, and mild winter temperatures. We live in Texas, and our shelter is on a bench on a covered porch. So our winters are mild and the location is somewhat sheltered. If I lived in the northern US with long, frigid winters, or the shelter were more exposed to the elements, I'd definitely want something with more protection and a warmer heat source.
Question:	Still having trouble w/potty training my little one and wondered if there were replacement beds available to switch out when washing a soiled one
Answer:	The cord on the heating pad extends approximately 69 inches from the heating pad. Another couple of inches is probably lost in getting it out of the cat shelter which would give it an effective length of about five and a half feet (5' 6")
