Question:	So this has a cord? How long? Do I need and extension cord? might be a problem if dog chews
Answer:	It never turns off. No switch, thermostat or auto shut off. I was concerned about that fact but the heat is very low. We have a chihuahua and she loves the pad. If mine was to ever fail I would buy another immediately to replace it.
Question:	Reviews say bed has a vinyl cover, but specs do not say waterproof. Dog has incontinence. I fear electro shock. Will this bed work
Answer:	When she was only 5 lbs., I elevated the seat and it kept her in without bending. It's a pretty sturdy dog seat. I also use a dog seat belt harness and clip to the seat for extra safety. She now weighs 13 lbs. and can still lean against them, but they do bend slightly with extra pressure if she stands with 2 front paws on them. Since she's heavier I put the seat directly on the car seat without elevating the seat. She'll curl up or sit leaning against the back of it and the car seat back. She hates riding in the car, but seems to be ok in her seat.
Question:	Can I bend it in order to put it in a suitcase

Answer:	Cats love this, but I don't think that you would want it over your headboard. It does stick out approx 19". Also, you need enough space above the penthouse for the suction cups (see the product image).
Question:	Can this be mounted securely on a wall as opposed to a window
Answer:	The suction cups are of the utmost quality, but I would not trust them to support a substantial amount of weight unless they were attached to a very smooth and hard surface like glass, or something similar. Not sure if a painted wall fits that criteria.
Question:	Can you feed a cat on this? Trying to keep the cats food away from the dog
Answer:	You probably could but the perch does bounce a bit when cats land on it so I would suggest putting the food inside the perch in case it spills. I put Temptations cat treats loose on the inside and on top of it to entice my kitties to use the perch when I first got it. One of my cats began hanging out on it but the other one only got on it to get the treats.

Answer:	You can, but you have to disconnect the legs and basically take it apart to do so. To make life easier we just but a fleece blanket on top of it and wash that once a week.

Answer:	The cord is 5.5 feet long. The electrical cord has 115 volts so chewing on it is the same as chewing on an extension cord. It is best to use this on a GFCI protected circuit or outlet, which should always be used outdoors or in garages anyway.

Answer:	Yes, it can be washed, the material is really easy to wash. About the odor, when I took it out of the package there wasn't a BIG odor. It smelled little like plastic but the odor when away once I put it on my car (roll the windows a little so it can ventilate).

Answer:	I would expect the cot to give a very small amount. I have this warming cot and the total mesh one (which gives a bit more) and the dogs love both of them. They are so easy to clean, which is hardly ever for some reason. My dogs range from 20-70 pounds and are from 3 different breeds. The big dogs even lie on the small size when they get a chance. Answer:	I used 3 of these for my outside dogs in the winter in their Dog Houses.I have a timer on them to come on after 6pm till 9am.I don't think they are pressure senitive.They love them.

Answer:	It doesn't get hot, just warm. I would be comfortable putting it in our travel cage that is wire and plastic/acrylic. Our bird sits in her hammock right next to it and/or hangs off of it every night. She loves it! I was worried it wasn't heating up enough, but it seems to be working great for our bird. Definately better than not having a heater at all. Considering getting a second one for another corner in our bird's house. Hope this helps.

Question:	I have a 20 something pound cat (yep, he is a big boy). Do you think he will fit in this bed
Answer:	I measured mine. The 16 x 20 are exterior dimensions. The interior is about 12 x 15 or so. It's the perfect size for our Chihuahua; it was intended for the cats, but the dog took it over. He loves it.
Question:	I read one review about the buying thinking he received a knock off brand. Did yours come with any K & H materials? Paperwork or flyer attached
Answer:	No, the K&H Original Lectro-Kennel Outdoor Heated Pad is an electrical product that needs to be plugged into a normal 110v outlet.
Question:	Is there an option to buy one of the bigger size beds? I see there are 3 different sizes listed, but do not see a size option button to choose from
Answer:	No, it should not be covered with anything other than the K&H cover. Even a blanket is not recommended. I do not think the heat will go through a dog house. However, if you mean inside the dog house that is perfectly acceptable. It should never be submerged in water so the inside of the dog house should be dry at all times.
Question:	It says this bed is 16"x20". Are these the exterior dimensions or interior? Thanks
Answer:	All of our Lectro Kennel pads are plugged into outdoor, heavy duty, cold-weather rated, extension cords and have been for 2+ years. The connections need protection from the the weather. This size pad is only 40 watts, it doesn't concern me at all using a 50 foot extension cord.
