I would agree with several of your other responders -ok for short distances, though would avoid for longer distances. You want your best friends to be more than comfortable. (mine inside measures 22"l x 13.5"w and 13"h. Personally, I would opt to the next size up.

Answer:	I have a 12.7 lb cat that went in so easy from the top. I put it in the car first.(back seat) I propped the top door open against the seat and he went right in. At the Vets office I had to wait in the exam room for a bit and opened the top,while sitting next to my chair, and he popped his head out the top and I just pet him while we were waiting. He's usually afraid, but I think because the top was open he felt better. My Vet even commented on how nice it was and even asked about where I had gotten it. I love this carrier!

Question:	What type of material is this? Does it work
Answer:	The Laundry Helper is made of a heavy-duty polyester material that has a non-stick coating on it to prevent pet-hair from clinging to the bag. I have used these bags with our guinea pigs' cage liners for about two years and they work great! The key is to fill them only half full, put the laundry soap directly into the bag, shake out the wet pet laundry before drying, and hang-dry the bag. Answer:	Yes! I use these so I don’t clog up my washer but I never feel like the fleece is 100% clean. I frequently wash them twice. Plus, hair and hay gets in all over the dryer and lint trap. It’s annoying but I feel it’s better than using carefresh bedding or something.
Question:	Does this work well in a front load washer
Answer:	Yes it works just fine in our front load washer. We learned we use 1/2 as much soap (in the bag). We have been using it for several years this way.
Question:	Is there any benefit to using this instead of a zippered pillowcase
Answer:	I would say yes, because this can hold much more bedding than a pillowcase can. I can put my fleece for both of my cages inside this, plus a little guinea pig cuddle cup, and everything comes out clean. You could definitely use a zippered pillowcase though, if you can get your bedding to fit in there without it being too balled up. :)
