Answer:	Sticker over mine too. Not too important though. Experation date is the last day they can sell it, not when it goes bad. I take out about 2 cups in a container to feed 2 birds from. The rest goes in the freezer until I need to refill the small container. Keeps it fresh and kills any bug larvae that might be in it. This will last about 3 months

Answer:	I don’t see why not but wonder why you would want to. Parrots need to crack seed and eat hard foods to keep their beak healthy. If you are using another hard food (pellets or other seed diet) then I would suggest you make your own cooked meals with lots of vegetables (kale, spinach, any leaf lettuce, broccoli, squash, sprouts etc.), some fruit (apple, berries etc) and healthy grains (brown rice, barley, quinoa, amaranth etc). So, unless your bird cannot eat hard food at all (and then yes, by all means cook this to soften) it’s always better to make your own using maybe five or so ingredients. I make a big batch at a time and put in ice cube trays and freeze (and once frozen move to a zip lock bag to keep in freezer) easy peasy. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Great question! Our freeze-dried Just Veggies don't take long to rehydrate at all. If just placed in water it may take a few minutes, depending on how soft you prefer them. If used as an ingredient in soups, they will rehydrate as cooked. Some piece may remain slightly 'crunchy'.
