Answer:	Not sure exactly what you are concern about so I'm going to answer in general. The bird selection is up to your preference. It doesn't have anything to do with the chirping sound. The sound comes from the box underneath the cage. Each design has a different bird chirping so buy different kinds of get jungle line varieties.

Answer:	Our mix is Sam's brand, a (40 pound bag), mostly sunflower seeds, even has broken peanuts and some fruit in the mix so sunflower seeds are no problem in ours. This feeder don't have to be removed from it's hanging place, just push the button to raise the roof and pour the seeds in. Ours is 1.5 years old and in Fla and is still fine.

Answer:	This is probably the best feeder I have for keeping seeds from getting moldy. I use it for golden safflower and it dries out quickly if it gets wet or snowed on. The tray does have plenty of holes but is shallow so sometimes there is a small amount of build up of wet seed to wipe off but very easy to do.
Question:	I have a problem with morning doves eating the safflower seed that I put out for cardinals. Does anyone know if doves can sit on this feeder
Answer:	Carefully wire the mesh up so that the sitting area is shorter. I did this , little by little, until I got to the height that the morning dives could NOT get on the feeder. Cardinals and smaller birds can still easily feed. Also use safflower seed which eliminates alot of unwanted birds!

Answer:	No. I only use it for black oil sunflower seed. If you use mixed bird seed then the seed will all fall out from the large holes.Several times the squirrels will climb onto the top and tilt it but the sunflower seed will not fall out. Also, it really is squirrel-proof cause the squirrels can only get one seed at a time since the top locks.I love this feeder - it is the best for all birds!

Question:	It looks like the squirrels could easily reach in to get seed? I have squirrel problems, does anyone recommend a cheap but good squirrel proof feeder
Answer:	I have never found a squirrel proof feeder, they will figure out how to get to the seeds. After about 10 years of trying everything we finally have a squirrel proof feeding station. An upside down washing machine drain pan (the larger one) attached to a 4 X 4 post as a feeding platform. The platform has to be at least 5’ off the ground & 5’ away from anything a squirrel can climb on. Then we had to put a metal stove pipe around the 4 X 4 post. On top of the feeding station we have 3 feeders, now everyone is happy. The squirrels can scavenge any seeds that get dropped on the ground & we can afford to feed the birds!

It’s very easy to carry and not too big to get in the way of anything. One thing I do wish was different though: a removable base for cleaning. It’s not hard to clean, but it is a little annoying how to maneuver the whole thing under a sink instead of just the pan at the bottom.

A. Black Oil Sunflower Seed is the most popular bird seed. It is much smaller than the traditional sunflower seed and best for those birds with smaller bills, such as the sparrow, junco and goldfinch. This seed is accepted by the greatest variety of birds.

Mixed Seed is also popular. It is best to buy the mixes that contain white proso millet, a tiny cream colored seed with a shiny shell. Mixes containing finely cracked corn and black oil sunflower are also preferred by a large number of birds.

Nyger (Thistle Seed) is imported from Africa and Asia. Nyger won't germinate, however, it has a tendency to become moldy due to lack of air circulation. If you notice mold on the seed, it must be removed from the feeder and the feeder must be cleaned thoroughly.

Q. How do I clean my bird feeders?

A. Before filling your feeder with fresh seed, it is recommended that the following precautions are taken:

1. Remove all old seed.

Answer:	There are 2 large doors about 8x8 inches and 4 small spring loaded doors 2 on each side about 4x4 inches. The water/feed bowls don't have ther own door but can be placed anywhere in the cage you would like

Answer:	22" deep x 36" wide and 47" tall are the inside measurements of the cage itself. Measuring from the floor to the cage is 13 inches. This is a really nice cage. I plan ongetting 2 more to replace 2 other cages I had bought at a bird fair that don't have nearly as many doors.

Answer:	No. For an African grey you need a thick wire Gage with stronger for locks. Africans beaks are very strong. They could snap these wires like a twig.

Answer:	This actually has 2 plastic cylinders- one for each level of the feeder. Both ends of each are open so you can take it apart for cleaning. The plastic cylinders look like they are 4" in diam. The birds really use it a lot as the perch goes all the way around and the feed comes out all the way around. You don't have to take it apart to get feed in the bottom either- just put the feed down the middle tube in the top part. I also have the single level one and the birds also use that alot!

Answer:	Metal and plastic. I took mine down after a couple of weeks......food everywhere! Whenever a bird flies from it, it swings and all the food goes on the ground. I would not recommend this feeder unless you pole mount it.
