Don't know where you got the 53" height from. This is the Prevue Hendryx F050 model your question is posted under and it's total height is 60" with the cage itself being 48"H x 37"W x 25" D (front to back); and that leaves 12" for the stand itself with the stand's storage shelf being about 6" above the floor. Very solid and very roomy. I purchased it at $181 and even at the current price I feel it is still a good deal for the asking price. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I have the 53" cage AND a little playground that I put on the top for my quaker parrot - adding another 9.75" - and it's a perfect fit.

Answer:	My cage is 32x21 height about 51 inches...it fits, just slightly big, which is perfect

Answer:	Yes, I have the Prevue Hendrex F040 cage which this cover is made to fit. It does not have a playground on top but I sat one up there and also added upright grapevine perches to the top.I just drape the cover over everything on the top and it still comes down far enough to cover three sides completely. I always leave a portion of the front uncovered and use a night light to prevent my birds from getting night frights.
