Answer:	I don’t think so. The size is probably good but the wire is a smaller gauge, similar to what you’d find on a parakeet cage. It may not be strong enough to hold up to the beak of an alexandrine. My caique loves this cage but he is not an aggressive chewer.

Answer:	If your bird is determined enough, it could chew through the mesh or the clear front window, but both are considerably difficult for a bird to get into its mouth. The mesh would be easier to chew through but because it is not loose enough for a bird to easily get some slack into their mouth, it would take a lot of effort to chew through any part of it.

Answer:	So measuring inside from the perch to the top it's an about 9 inches. Measuring from the bottom to the top it's about 15 inches. I have a green cheek conure so for her it's plenty of space.

If they are in love with each other it may work but there is not enough room for two birds to have a fight! One or both could get injured. My one Quaker is still confused by the clear sides n he throws up while inside more often than not. He is in there at least once a week. It’s a risk that you are taking.
