| Answer: | During the ordering process, we were notified of the available delivery dates, and chose one that was convenient. This machine comes on a pallet to your door, by truck. The delivery driver mentioned that he had been delivering them all day on the day we received ours, starting that morning with a full trailer-load. Recommendation: Get started early on the order process, and pick days/dates that work for you. We ordered the last week of November, and ours was delivered less than 3 weeks later. Star the process -Before- the snow arrives, so you can assemble and get familiar with the machine before you actually need it. Next door neighbor waited for snow before dashing off to the local big-box store, only to find a pitiful selection of remaining stock, and three-day wait for assembly on any of those. He used mine while he waited for delivery on his own. |

| Answer: | Buy the both-belts package at https://smile.amazon.com/Husqvarna-501818201-584216102-Auger-Drive/dp/B01BKSC3CS/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=husqvarna+st227P+belts&qid=1572898457&sr=8-2 The models starting in 2015 have not had the same infant-mortality issues with impeller belts the previous models enjoyed. The routing on the roler wheel has changed, and the tensioner is adjusted slightly differently now. Still, you'll do well to keep a set of belts just in case, plus at least one spare set of skid shoes. I've used one auger belt in five seasons, and that was due to owner stupidity. I left the machine out after running out of fuel, and there was some slush in the barrel that froze up. It seemed like only 15 minutes or so, but it was cold enough for long enough to lock the impeller. Into the heated garage workshop, and the slush melted as I changed the belt. Ordered another spare immediately. Be sure to use a kevlar belt like the OEM , and not a common fractional horsepower 4L380 belt instead. |
