So yes this may have been $58 dollars at cheap ol Walmart which undercuts all prices to beat competition even if they lose money, but this is now the price of it. It’s sold out everywhere and pool may be closed for the summer, this cause prices to rise since there aren’t many left. If there were 100 silver coins left in the world and you had the last one, wouldn’t you want more money for it now that you have the last one? It’s like having an old vintage item back then it was only a penny now it’s 1000’s of dollars, that isn’t price gouging though right? It’s called supply and demand, welcome to shopping.

Answer:	I have the round 12' w x 30" h pool that came with the 530 gph filter pump that has 1 1/4" hoses and this 1000 gph pump was a direct replacement. No hose adapters were needed. I'm not exactly sure what the model number is of the 530 gph pump but the hoses fit perfectly onto this pump. All I did was plug the inlet/outlet openings in the pool with the plugs that came with the pool and swapped out the pump. Took 5 minutes. I found a lot of the reviews here confusing because some seemed to indicate that hose adapters would be necessary but that turned out not to be the case. I'm pretty happy with this pump. Works waaaay better than the 530 gph.

Answer:	Yes it does come with the hoses, clamps, filter, and everything that you need to use it. I am not sure of the diameter of the hoses. It works really well for a 14' x 48" pool.

Question:	How did everyone get the walls up when adding water. Directions say it should when the upper ring is inflated but it’s not working
Answer:	Hi Blair, the pool should be on a flat surface when filling with the ring inflated. Once you begin filling the pool with water stop after adding approximately 1 inch and push out the sidewalls from underneath the ring around the circumference of the pool. Begin filling again. Answer:	I don't live in Alaska but I live in a cold climate and I would definitely take it down for the winter. Personally I think this thing is a piece of junk. We put it up and it wouldn't stay inflated for even two days. All the water came out of it so we returned it and got our money back.

Answer:	This is our 3rd season in N E Ohio with is particular pool. We have taken it down and carefully stored it each winter. When we set it up each season, we are careful to insure the sand base is level. This year (our 3rd) the inflatable ring has a slow leak, which requires refilling daily. Also, it has stretched from round to somewhat of an oval this year. And I am now thinking their is a slow leak from underside as there is a puddle of water outside base in one spot. We run the included filter/pump 24/7 and it has always kept it clean, if I stay mindful checking chlorine and PH. We originally paid $88, Sept 2017. Current price is now $230. Don't know if it'll last a 4th season next year.

I do not see PSI listed but "Pumps will lift water up to 25' of vertical height" I belive answers your question...there is a chart on the "Performance" tab that shows 30 GPM at 0' lift and 2 GPM at 25' lift...with flow rates every 5' listed.http://superiorpump.com/products/utility/91250.html
Question:	Does it have an automatic shut off
Answer:	The pump does not have an automatic shut off. I added a float switch because I wanted it to pump out a sink that had a slow-running clogged drain where I had the washing machine. When the sink was mostly pumped out the float switch turned off the pump. It worked great for a couple years until I got around to dealing with snaking the drain which didn't have an easy clean-out. This is a good pump, since the sink drain got taken care of, we've been using the pump to pump koi pond water over a 5' fence to our neighbor's garden using about 150' of garden hose. The pump runs continuously for 5+ hours without issues in this process.
Question:	Will clothes washer hoses fit on this pump
Answer:	The pump itself fits a garden hose nicely. You can buy the attachment package listed next to it for the converter piece. It only came to around $8.00. It also comes with a larger hose. I didn't need it for my spa but if you need to empty a washer or bigger pool it seems like it would come in handy. Hope that helps. Good luck. :-)
Question:	Can this be user to flush a tankless heater with vinigar
Answer:	I bought the pump for this very reason. I'm not sure if it is rated to handle vinegar, but at the price I figured I'd try it and see. I have two tankless water heaters, and I wanted a pump that could clean out both at the same time and this pump certainly does the job. I have a hose that runs from the pump, into a splitter. From the splitter I have two hoses going to each water heater (one hose per water heater). Even pushing water through two hoses, it still has a strong flow, with each hose pushing about the same flow as the water hose faucet outside your house opened wide open (guestimate). The splitter I have allows me to adjust the flow rate by closing off some valves if it is too strong. For just one water heater, i would think this pump is too strong (as it REALLY moves water), but I'm not a plumber so I couldn't say for sure. If I were to do it again, I think I would have purchased the 1/4 HP pump, or even the 1/5HP for cleaning out water heaters with vinegar. I cleaned out my water heater this week for the first time using this pump. I let it run for 2 hrs, and I noticed that it got warm (about the temp of a warm-to-hot bath). I'm not sure if that is normal, but thought I'd let you know.

The WAPC250 is an automatic on/off water removal pool cover pump. Max. Flow rate is 3000 gallons per hour using 1-1/4" drain hose. Includes: check-valve with 3/4" garden hose adapter to reduce repetitive cycling, 25 foot power cord (always plug into a gfci outlet), 25 foot "pull to shore" rope included to help position the pump on the pool cover. When temperatures drop below freezing remove pump from service and store indoors to protect pump from damage due to ice. The pump has a unique protection circuit to protect the motor from a locked impeller condition possibly caused by debris buildup or from a frozen impeller situation caused by ice formation. When the pump is activated and a locked impeller condition is detected the unit will automatically shutdown to protect the motor from overheating. The pump will continue this on or off cycle for a period of time to attempt to free the impeller until eventually the unit will remain off for a period of 12 hours checking twice a day for a freed impeller. Once the pump is able to operate correctly the pump will resume normal operation. To reset this delay without waiting 12 hours momentarily unplug the pump

Question:	How much water is necessary to activate it? I'd like it to pump down to 1/4" of standing water or less
Answer:	This pump starts to pump water at 2 1/8 inches of water, not good when the temperature is below freezing. if there is 2 inches of FROZEN ICE SURROUNDING THE PUMP , it wont pump any water because the pump is encased in surrounding ICE. This pump is designed to protect itself and not your pool cover.
Question:	I have a plastic liner and then the mesh cover. So, do I put the pump on top of the mesh cover in the middle
Answer:	I have a concrete pool and a mesh cover suspended in air above the pool water. I place this pump below the cover on one of the pool steps to keep the water level from rising all winter. I used to use it on top of a solid cover to keep rain water from building up on the cover.
Question:	Is the pump fully submersible
Answer:	Until two days ago my pump wasn't only completely underwater but it was completely under a foot of hard frozen snow and ice. Now I did unplug the pump knowing that a hard freeze was coming and also had to wait until the temps got above freezing in order for the snow and ice to thaw. But yesterday I plugged it back in and it still worked like a champ!
Question:	I have had this pump for a month. Worked good at first. Now it cycles on and off when it is submerged beyond the indicated mark. Any ideas
