Question:	I have a 16 foot diameter pool. Would the 15 foot cover fit, or can the 18 foot cover be cut to size
Answer:	I have the 18 ft cover and an Intex pool, the cover touches all the sides with a couple of inches left over. I never trimmed mine, as it finds it way down naturally and lays pretty flat. I am not sure if a 15 ft cover would be as generous as this one, if it were, I would say you are probably safe. I have a lot of bunching up in areas that aren't laying flat. Ironically, that is where the water is the warmest. Just know, personally, I think trimming it would be a pain. It is a very large piece of plastic and even standing in the pool, as you cut, you might end up with those little bubble pieces.

Answer:	No, unless you are the sole cover operator, cover cleaner, cover puter back oner. I have a salt water system and skimmer also run a sweeper once a week. The dirt, grass and salt chips on top of the cover are minimal. I wanted maximum coverage to heat and hold in warmth. Excess air trapped under to escape, not inflate. The surface tension holds the cover firmly on the water even in high winds, you may lose that with extra cover. I think most covers are cut from straight stock and glued, mine was 6" to 12" to large and egg shaped when I received it. They work great.

Question:	have a kidney shape pool underground, which one should i get
Answer:	I have a round, 24 foot wide and 5 foot tall above ground pool. The solar blanket probably warmed our pool up 5° - 7° and kept the water from cooling off too much at night. With an in-ground pool, you probably don't have to worry as much about the nighttime cooling. The cover also reduced bugs and leaves. I've been happy with it.
Question:	I've never purchased a pool cover before. If my pool is 12 ft (round), do I buy a 12 ft. cover or do I need to purchase a larger cover
Answer:	The cover is left on the surface of the water. So exact would be ok. However, I have a 24 foot round above ground pool. I buy a 21 foot cover which allows it to ciculat around with the water flow and have room not to catch the ladder. It one gets the exact size they usually cut out for the ladder but don't let it circulate with the water. I found the cut out a bother with the water flow circulation and went with a smaller size which misses the steps.

Answer:	I have tired reels and a couple other things, but the best is a simple Solar Saddle system. They are PBV pipes that attach to the side of the pool. Simply pull the cover over and lay it in the saddles. Answer:	When I had a rectangular pool I went to my local packaging supply house and bought the same blue material. It only lasted two seasons but that’s all I get out of this one anyway.

Answer:	The purpose of the cover is to heat the water in the pool. It floats on top of the water and there are no holes in it. Rain does not affect it and there is no need for drainage.

Answer:	There are an appropriate number of nylon straps for the width of your solar blanket that have a grommet-like plastic flange to attach to the blanket (a tap or two with a hammer to secure) and a peel and stick tape on the other end to glue to the tube. I also screwed in a washerhead sheetmetal screw for security.

How To Measure For The Solar Pocket

Solar Pocket consists of five j-hooks that are evenly spread to conveniently hold any solar cover up and off of the ground. Metal brackets hold the j-hooks which hangs freely off of the top rail of a swimming pool. To visualize a good placement of the Solar Pocket, simply lay your solar cover folded on the ground next to your swimming pool.

The Installation Process

Installing and assembling the Sun2Solar Solar Pocket is easy and only requires a few steps! Two bolts go into the pre-drilled holes of the top rail and through the mounting bracket which is then locked into place with two nuts. The Solar Pocket is then placed inside of the mounting bracket and held in place with another bolt and a nut.
