Answer:	Over a longer time they do rust. But I've had mine for several years. I use a quartered square of plastic wrap, or a square of used cleaned storage bags to keep the lids from rusting further. I put the small square over the top of the bottle & screw on the lid. Works fine. Don't know why they just don't make the lids out of stainless steel. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Answer:	No they come as seen. Only assembly is attachment to your cover straps.

Answer:	Yes you need stainless steel buckles. You attach the buckle to the cover strap. Then put the spring loop onto the strap. Feed the strap through the buckle to tighten. If using on a wood deck they make plastic sheaths that go over the spring so it doesn't scratch the wood when it stretches and contracts. If using on concrete the plastic sheaths are optional and not necessary. There are videos online, check the Meyco site, for attaching buckles and springs.

Answer:	The difference is in thickness and weight. 800 is 8 mils thick. 1200 is 12 mils thick and 1600 is 16 mils thick. We have found that the thicker blankets work best and last longer. We have had a 12 mil blanket that lasted 5 years. The 8 mil blanket we bought started breaking down after one year. The blankets were identical except thickness and weight.
