| Answer: | Old question, but still applicable, so I will jump in and say the "most current model" you refer to is the older style with a CD Ozone Chip inside, which was replaceable. The NEW NEW style has a "U" in the part number which stands for Universal Voltage and Hertz. You no longer need to know if you have 120V, 240V, 50Hz or 60Hz which is awesome on many levels. The Universal models are called Spa Eclipse NEXT GENERATION and they do not have a replaceable CD Ozone Chip inside. | Answer: | These answers are all wrong. Bubbles tell you nothing about the status of your Ozone generator. There is no pump in these ozone generators. The injector or ozone port in the tub creates a slight vacuum that draws the ozone out of the unit. Even if you disconnect your ozone generator altogether you will still have bubbles...but they will be 100% air bubbles. If the light is on, the only real way to know is to do an ozone test or, simply use your nose. Often you can smell the ozone gas. |

Make sure to keep an eye on the pH, as salt water chlorinators tend to raise the pH. You can use a mild acid or even white vinegar to lower the pH, or use dry acid (pH- or pH down).
