Answer:	This question made me curious as I’ve only used this with eggs. Having both black and green olives in my fridge I decided to see how it worked. The green olives were large and pimento stuffed. They didn’t cut too easily with the slicer, however did really well with the wedger. The black olives did well with both the slicer and wedger.

Question:	The instruction manual states that you have to use cyanuric acid to stabilize. I'm trying to minimize the harsh chemicals. Do you have to add it
Answer:	Cyanuric acid helps prevent the chlorine from being dissipated by the sun. It can be used without it but the chlorinator will have to work much harder and have have a difficult time keeping up (pool size will impact this). Compared to the harsh chemicals you add when you use traditional chlorine, the Cyanuric Acid is minimal in both quantity and impact - I used a small (1 gallon?) bucket for my 20,000 gallon pool and that was sufficient.
Question:	do you have to use test strips with SolXX SALTRET20A system or does it use timer to control
Answer:	The Saltron Retro uses a timer to produce chlorine based on the amount of hours you set it to run. You will still need to use test strips to know how much chlorine you have in your water and to figure out how long you need to run the Retro in your pool.

Answer:	As long as you have between 2500ppm-3000ppm of salt in the pool the Saltron Retro will generate chlorine. It comes with mounting brackets for above ground pools, so mounting should be easy.

Answer:	I use seventh generation free and clear liquid laundry detergent with these pods for soiled clothing and linens with great success. Does that answer you question? I have chemical sensitivity and am prone to rashes. These products together don't cause any skin irritations. Love them!

Answer:	It could be a couple things, but you may simply need to re-calibrate the cell. Further troubleshooting tips can be found below: Installation issues? - Make sure the salt cell is seated securely inside the plumbing: The Simple Cell is the exact length as the previous Hayward/Goldline Salt Cell, and uses the exact thread specifications in order to fit in the existing unions. Upon installation be sure that your plumbing creates as snug of a fit as possible between the end of the salt cell, and the O-Ring inside the Union on your plumbing. Manually adjust your plumbing left or right if at all possible in order to create a tight seal inside the union. The watertight seal does NOT happen at the threads, rather it is in your plumbing created where the tip of the salt cell meets the O-Ring inside the union in your plumbing. If you continue to encounter a leak, you may need to replace the T-Cell O-Ring inside the union of your plumbing. - If you are installing Vertically in your plumbing also note that the weight of the Simple Cell will move toward the ground, so be sure to apply pressure upward when threading on the top union in order to create a tight seal with the plumbing. Incorrect readings? - Be sure the Simple Cell plug is fully inserted into the circuit board port: If you are receiving a salt level reading of 0 and the system is not generating chlorine, it could be that the Simple Cell is not fully plugged into your main circuit board. To ensure that this is not the case, first unplug the Simple Cell from your panel. Then remove the faceplate, and reinsert the plug into the correct port on the main circuit board making sure that all of the pins are correctly and fully lined up and inserted into the port on the main circuit board. Then place the faceplate back on the panel. - Be sure to allow time for Simple Cell to calibrate itself to your pool: When your old salt cell went bad, it was reading a much lower salt level than what was actually in your pool. Your system stored this incorrect information, so there is a good chance your system initially will display the same incorrect information as before. The Simple Cell will correct these false readings itself within 72 Hours with no further action on your part, however you can also recalibrate your salt system manually. Please refer to your owners manual for instructions on this process. - Be sure to accurately test your Salt Level for comparison: Often times because the salt level has not been read correctly for an extended period of time, salt may have been added or removed based on incorrect informaiton. It is best to have your salt level tested professionally at this point, usually at a local pool store. The system is only designed to work when your salt level is between 2600PPM - 3400PPM, so you may need to simply add or remove the salt in your pool in order for the Simple Cell to begin generating chlorine. If the salt level is outside of the designated range, it will shut down and prevent the Simple Cell from generating chlorine. - Configure your board for the correct T-Cell Size: If you were previously using a smaller T-Cell Size (T-9, T-5 or T-3 size cell) you will have to configure your circuit board for a T-15. Please refer to your owners manual for instructions on this process.

Answer:	When I replaced the original cell I had to upgrade the circuit board in the control panel to the next generation the third cell worked fine to a point. I always lacked free chlorine and had a problems with black algae. I would have to throw in a packet of shock and finely the algae was under control. To be honest I went back to the basics and I don't use the T cell anymore.

Answer:	The minimum flowrate is 15 GPM. Max is not an issue.
Question:	Does the cell need to be installed 6" above return on above ground pool
Answer:	Since this system does not use a flow switch to shut off the cell in the event of no water flow or low water, the instructions from the manufacturer is to place the cell at the normal level of the pool water. If the water level goes below the normal level of the pool, there will not be any water in the cell. In my application, I placed the cell at the normal water level of the pool and I use a variable speed pentair pool pump that runs 24 hrs a day. I have the circupool also run 24-hours a day. If you use a timer for your pump, run the circupool only when the pump is running. This system does not come with a water flow switch. Depending on your electrical abilities, you could purchase a flow switch and with a 220 volt relay and a circuit that activates the relay with the flow switch make a unit to shut off the circupool chlorinator when there is no water flow. This is more complicated then either running 24 hours or using a timer in coordination with the pool pump.

Question:	How does the on/auto/off function work when in auto position
Answer:	It all depends on how many hours you expect these to work. I have used them for 500 hrs before replacement. The velcro can get less sticky but it still works after 500 hrs; I have not found this to be a big issue for myself but others may be more particular. If you want top performance all the time, you will have to replace most of the cycling clothing and components fairly regularly.
Question:	I have a t 9 turbo cell by hayward will it drop right in place of it
Answer:	I purchased medium sized gloves and they fit well. Label inside glove shows medium. I am American and do have small-medium sized hands.
Question:	does this plug in or wire into a 110 outlet
Answer:	They fi my hands but I do have small hands.

Answer:	Check model number of your system for compatibility. Let your fingers do the walking on the internet to find a compatible part.

Answer:	There is a groove in the lid portion of the kit where the threaded part goes. When placing the kit on the cell we chose to put it on the portion opposite of where the electrical line was.

Answer:	Read in the specs as to what model this item is compatible with. IC30 is not listed. If u want to try it, buy it...if no go send it back. Try in your searches on Pentair for a cleaning cap that will fit your specific model.
