Answer:	I was told never use nonstabilized chlorine tablets in the chlorinator. I did. And it got all thick and frothy, plugged it up and ruined it.

Question:	I can i stall this on a well system to purify water before entering the house
Answer:	I wouldn’t try to purify the water with chlorine. That does not sound safe for consumption. You should check with a local company that purifies water. We had a water softener and a purifier but it used water softener salt and another component was the purifier.

Answer:	I have never had a problem with mine , but i only tighten it till it clicks . i have never had any leeks either . when I purchased mine I bought extra o rings and the opener tool but haven't had to use them yet .

Answer:	The CL220 uses plastic tubing and saddle valves to attach to your pool plumbing. This allows you to drill two small holes into the existing pool plumbing (one hole in a piece of pipe between the pump and the filter and the other in a piece of pipe just after the filter) to install the feeder. It is designed to be easy to install. The CL200 is the same basic unit except that the ports on the bottom are threaded so that you can use threaded fittings to add it to your system. This requires a lot more knowledge about fittings, connectors and plumbing.

Answer:	Yes, the kit includes everything you will need to install. You will have to drill a small whole into your feed and return line, but they will tell you in the instructions how to do all this. If you have any diy skills I'm sure you can handle it.

Answer:	Yes, this is quite normal. The solar panel of the duck is made with the lowest grade material available. Therefore, it does not glow as advertised, but due to a chemical reaction that is harmful to customers, the sun passing through the low grade plastic, the result is a quacking noise. Be assured that this noise is due to radioactive nature of the sun mixed with the poorly made plastic. In fact, we have had reports of the duck flying away at night (not glowing) and returning the next morning. On theory is that the chlorine mixes with the cheap plastic that fails to make the the duck glow and causes a harmful reaction that brings the duck to life. So, while the quack is surely annoying, it’s common.
Question:	What sized pool is this suitable for? I'm looking to float it in a childrens pool about 3' deep. Too deep to empty and refill everyday
Answer:	You unscrew the duck from the plastic piece to add the chlorine tabs. Then looking at the picture you can see the bottom thinner round piece, when you pick the duck up this piece extends 4 to 5 inches and has 8 holes(max) in each side to allow the chlorine to come out. You twist this piece to adjust the holes per gallons in your pool, 8 being the most holes (16 total) for 40,000 gallons and 2 holes (4 total) being the least for 10,000 gallons. It was really cute floating around in the pool when it sat flat and lit up. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I used a nail and hammer. If I remember correctly there was something guiding me on how many holes to do based on gallons of water in pool. Maybe 6?

Answer:	If you unscrew the cap, you'll find the top is in there. The "dome" part is just installed upside down for shipping. The parts should also all be packed inside.

Answer:	The maximum pressure is 40 psi. This unit should be attached to the discharge side of your pump.

Answer:	I did not get instruction either. Pretty simple. Fill with tablets, screw lid tight, turn dial to desired chlorine level. Will have to use trial and error method to find dial setting needed for your pool situation. Test small increments at a time. Works very well for me.
Question:	can this be used on a 18x36 inground pool
Answer:	I used it late last season to chlorinate a 20 x 40 pool after performing a pool renovation. It worked fine for me, though I couldn't test it through the hottest dog days of summer when the sun eats up chlorine at peak rates. However, I did observe the flow rates through the feeder before loading it with chlorine. I'd say the flow rate was far better than any suction type chlorinator that I'd used in the past. In my experience, the flow rate is key because the container will hold plenty of tablets to cover an 18 x 36 pool. You need the flow rate to dissolve the tablets fast enough. In general, I was impressed with the quality of construction and the inclusion of all fittings for installation. I think it will serve your needs. You will need two hands when operating the latch and removing the lid, but it's not much different from other "name brand" chlorinators I've used. I don't consider it unsafe, but always open slowly and avoid direct inhalation around ANY chlorinator.

Answer:	I'm not certain what you mean by "fixtures." The unit is self-contained, but you need to supply connecting pipe from the output of your valve and this may require PVC adapters depending on the way your pool is plumbed. I included PVC unions to make it possible to remove and replace the unit in the future.

Answer:	A parts diagram comes with the unit. Parts can be order from a pool supply or on line. The black tube method in another reply can be purchased By the foot from Home Depot.

Answer:	NEVER fill the tab feeder. I am a pool professional for 10 years. I have never in any of my pools filled the feeder. The tabs have cyaneric in them and when it gets to high your chlorine will lock up. 2-3 tabs in the summer per week and only glandular shock during the winter. 1 pound a week should do it.

Answer:	Yes, it has clamps for 1-1/2” or 2” pipes, comes with some black plastic hose, and the fittings to connect it all.
Question:	what is the red tube above the control valve? how long do you think the glass top will stay clear and not cloud up
Answer:	The red tube is a flow meter. There’s a bob inside the tube, the more flow you dial in, the higher the bob floats in the tube. The glass should never cloud up, I’ve only seen plastic ones get foggy.
