Answer:	I think he/she is asking what are the dimensions and weight of the box that the cover is shipped in. I would also like to know the answer.

Answer:	It will be safe for at least a year. I have had the cover for exactly 13 months and the cover is starting to fall apart and is leaving small blue bubble debris in my pool. If you have fish in the pond, I would be concerned that the debris could harm the fish if they tried to eat it.

Answer:	They claim there is but when we had an issue with all of the bubbles falling off and clogging our filter leading a brand new pump to burn out they claimed the bubbles separating from the cover isn’t under warranty! We had the cover 10 months and our pool pump was just about a year old...we had put in a new pool. DO NOT BUY THIS COVER

Answer:	Hands down clear is the better cover for solar gain. Yhe Department of Energy say the following. Answer:	I don't think it's a problem with newer TVs they don't have an actual picture tube.I have it under my 58 inch Samsung and it touch the bottom with no problem.

Answer:	Get one with large amp or get a separate amp at least 200 wpc. I'd go for the biggest amp you can afford if you want the best sound. AVR recievers have a hard time powering these. They do ok on my Onkyo txrz820 130wpc 2 channels driven, but they do way better with my 400wpc amp

Question:	What size are the hose connections
Answer:	It can hook up to 1.25 intex or 1.5 hose. You need gaskets though.
Question:	How would this work for heating my 40 gal hot water heater
Answer:	I'm presently heating 60 gallons. Keep in mind it only heats as long as is on the unit. You will need a pump to circulate the water and dual shut off valves to isolate the water while it is heating. I heat a jacuzzi with mine and in the peak of summer I got over 120° incoming water. Good luck.
Question:	Can you connect several of them together easily
Answer:	Yes, it has a connection hose and clamps with each one to tie one, two or more together. Hint: make sure you silicone the caps and threaded fittings. I did even with the Teflon Tape to insure no leaks. Work great.
Question:	Doe it work with a sand filter
Answer:	Yes it works with a sand filter. It also works with salt water systems. I installed mine downstream from the filter on the inlet line to the pool and before the chlorine generator. I would not install it upstream from the pump and filter because you don't want any debris that gets past the skimmer to get into the heater to potentially cause blockages. It doesn't have to be before the chlorine generator either, that's just how mine worked out.

Answer:	As to the 15 pound dog, yes if properly set and tested. The sensitivity changes according to how high or low from the water surface the sensor is. As to a thermal blanket, I have no idea.

Answer:	Don't see why not, it attached to our ladder to our inground pool but should work for you as long as you have something similar to attach it to.

Answer:	It's battery powered and it comes with all hardware. It screws to the pool deck, in my case I had to have a masonry drill bit

Answer:	It connects through wifi to another transmitter you charge in house. It's really loud regardless. You won't miss the alarm.

Answer:	it comes with a long tether that can be easily shortened without cutting it, but you could let it float around without it. If it is free floating be sure it is alarming properly. Its alarm sensitivity is also very adjustable. Note: rain will also likely set it off.

Turning the black flotation base clockwise or counterclockwise raises or lowers the sensing ring with respect to the water. stops. Do not force it. This is the most sensitive position and the position that was used to pass ASTM testing. Moving the float from this position will no longer meet ASTM requirements The closer the sensing ring is to the water, the more sensitive the alarm. Turn the black flotation base gently clockwise until it.

Sensitivity Marks

The “Sensitivity Marks” can be used as a general indicator for the sensitivity position. Should the sensitivity need to be adjusted start making adjustments by turning the float only a ¼ turn at a time. Test the alarm after each adjustment. We do not recommend turning the float out more than three full turns.

Alarm Placement for pools 20x40 ft or smaller

One pool alarm can be used for all pool types. This includes aboveground, in-ground, inflatable and soft side pools.

Alarm Placement for pools larger then 20x40 ft

It is recommended that more than one alarm should be used in pools larger than 20x40 ft.

RECEIVER

Your receiver works with the pool alarm allowing you to monitor your pool from within your house. When the floating alarm is activated it sends a signal to activate the receiver.

Transmission Modes

The receiver has two modes of operation: Serial Number mode (SN mode) and ID mode. When the receiver is in SN mode it will accept the transmission of any Pool Patrol transmitter (this is the default setting). The serial number is common to all transmitters. When the receiver is in ID mode it will accept the serial number plus the ID number of the transmission. The ID number is unique to each transmitter.

RECEIVER PLACEMENT

It is best to place the receiver next to a window or wood door adjacent to the pool with-in 200 feet from the transmitter. Do not place the receiver near steel walls, cabinets, on or alongside an electrical appliance, such as a computer, or on a metal surface as this may affect signal reception. The pool alarm will not transmit its signal through the ground.

Answer:	I do not have the manuals but here is the answer to connecting the hoses. The connection is for 1 1/2 hoses. Do NOT use the hoses that come with the dome no matter what.

Answer:	Hello, use an extention cord will cause power consumption, If you really need to use an extension cord, Preferably not more than 3 meters, and it needs to be a big enough gauge to handle the amperage. Preferably a 14 gauge, hope this helps, thank you.

Answer:	No, there is no thermostat on the unit. I bought it to warm the water in a stainless steel Tank and it works wonderfully.

Answer:	I have found that it heats 5 gallons in about 20 minutes or so. It does depend on how cold the water is to start.

Answer:	We use it in a small bapistry and it works great. Keep in mind with that much water it takes a couple of hours to get hot.

Question:	my pool takes 36,000 galloons, will this heater work
Answer:	Well, my pool is 21,000 gallons and it works quite well indeed. When I started it for the season last week it raised the pool temp from 63F to 84F in just about 24 hours. I imagine it would work well in your pool. Obviously, it will take longer to heat the additional 15K gallons, but it should work.
Question:	I have a 15x32 foot pool with a 3/4 inch gas line now. Will this heater be big enough to heat pool and will I have to increase the gas line to
Answer:	Your piping depends how long of a run it is. There are formulas to figure it out, I don't know off hand. You can google it.Mine is reduced to 3/4" for about 5 feet. It is 1.25" before that. This heater will heat your pool. Mine is 16x32 about 4 feet deep on average and it heats it overnight from 65-80F.
Question:	Is this heater noisy,my old Sta-Rite is like jet engine
Answer:	This is the 1st pool heater we have ever had so its hard to say if its overly noisy. It does make noise but nothing that we feel is overwhelming.

Answer:	Yes, there is a propane model. No, it does not run off 20 lb propane tanks. I have a 250 gallon underground propane tank that was installed with the pool and heater. I do not have NG in my neighborhood, so propane was the only option for me. Those that answered this question with sarcastic and frankly insulting comments should be more familiar with the product BEFORE they put their comments online . They are the ones who look stupid not knowing how to answer this simple question.

Question:	Do these really warm the water
Answer:	It definitely works. Make sure it is in the sunlight for a minimum of 4 hours (depending on your preference in water temp). I also use a solar blanket. It is pretty awesome and I am purchasing another for my approx 5000 gallon pool (12X24X48) just because I like my water a bit warmer than others, after being spoiled while on vacation last year by a heated pool in 100 degree weather - never thought I would want that warm of water during hot weather but found I do, and I really want to extend my season. I turn my pump on around 11 and leave it on until 4 with direct sunlight at those times.
Question:	we have a 14.000 gallon above ground pool. live in Riverside CA Inland Empire. I assume high heat purchasing one set of 2X20 h20 temp comfortable
Answer:	I use two panels an find the pool quite comfortable. I live in a hot area in NorCal. I find that using a solar blanket helps quite a bit not only in preserving the heat at night but greatly increasing the heat buildup during the day. I highly recommend using both the blanket and the panel.

Answer:	it is 80' in total or 160' round trip? what brand and model of pool pump to you have? this is not intended to be used with a garden hose.
Question:	How many hours a day do you have to run it to heat up the pool at least 10 degrees? I have an indoor, in-ground pool
Answer:	Wow, that's an unanswerable question, unless you can run a computer model with all the input variables specific to your installation. The variables include your latitude, hours per day of clear sunshine, running hours, heat loss rate from your pool, size and efficiency of your solar collectors, etc...The bottom line is that you run the collectors as much as possible (dictated by your solar controller), and accept whatever it supplies. If you need a specific water temperature, you use a backup heater (natural gas or heat pump - not propane or electric resistance!).

Answer:	I have owned both vinyl liner and concrete pools. This head would be better for concrete. For vinyl liner pools, I prefer a vacuum head that has bristles on it. This head may work for vinyl, but it was designed for concrete/guinite.

Answer:	It works great for gunite. Just keep in mind that it is very wide so you'll get done a lot quicker.

Question:	How do know which size to buy? We will supply two bathrooms, dish washer, clothes washer. What size should I choose
Answer:	I noted someone below stating they got the largest one and they can only run one water source at a time. My guess is they installed it wrong by not getting the electric hooked up right, or maybe the unit was just defective, or they live in Alaska. I went under size with an Eco 27 a few years ago because that’s all my electric panel could handle. We have zero issues in the summer. During winter months we can only run one shower at a time and have to slowly fill a tub (maybe 3/4 fill speed). To save as much money as I am on electric bill and have unlimited shower lengths (only 1 person at a time mid-Dec to mid-March) is totally worth it. On here today because I’m thinking of upping my panel size so was thinking of going with a larger one now. Regardless, CCRC’s experience with the largest unit not working is nothing like the experience I’ve had, and again I intentionally undersized mine for the house. The website has a clear chart to explain size you need based on number of water fixtures in your home and ground water temperature.
Question:	Can this unit supply a 3,700 sq foot home with 3 1/2 baths
Answer:	In the lower states it can, but in the northern states, multiple simultaneous users, it will be overloaded. If you can afford a 3,700 square foot home, then you can place a unit in each appropriate demand zone and be very glad you did. I love mine, live in KY, get great supply when the water is above 60 degrees, and then it slows the flow as the temperature drops. I have dishwasher, washing machine, garden tube, 2 showers, 3 sinks and 4 people. It is better than great in the summer, okay spring and fall, and we are conservative in the winter.
Question:	What is the power consumption of this tank-less heater
Answer:	The instantaneous power consumption while the hot water is running is quite high (up to 18kW or 27kW depending on which model you’re looking at on this page). However, when no hot water is being used, the power consumption is 0 (or a minuscule amount to run an LED light or something). The total power consumption over the course of several days or longer should be much lower than a tank heater but the short term power usage while the heater is making hot water will be much higher than a tank heater. It’s just that the unit sits idle most of the time while a tank heater will use power fairly frequently even when no hot water is needed as the water in the tank cools off over time and needs to be re-heater fairly constantly
