Answer:	It will be safe for at least a year. I have had the cover for exactly 13 months and the cover is starting to fall apart and is leaving small blue bubble debris in my pool. If you have fish in the pond, I would be concerned that the debris could harm the fish if they tried to eat it.

Answer:	They claim there is but when we had an issue with all of the bubbles falling off and clogging our filter leading a brand new pump to burn out they claimed the bubbles separating from the cover isn’t under warranty! Answer:	It definitely works. Make sure it is in the sunlight for a minimum of 4 hours (depending on your preference in water temp). I also use a solar blanket. It is pretty awesome and I am purchasing another for my approx 5000 gallon pool (12X24X48) just because I like my water a bit warmer than others, after being spoiled while on vacation last year by a heated pool in 100 degree weather - never thought I would want that warm of water during hot weather but found I do, and I really want to extend my season. I turn my pump on around 11 and leave it on until 4 with direct sunlight at those times.

Answer:	I use two panels an find the pool quite comfortable. I live in a hot area in NorCal. I find that using a solar blanket helps quite a bit not only in preserving the heat at night but greatly increasing the heat buildup during the day. I highly recommend using both the blanket and the panel.

Answer:	Wow, that's an unanswerable question, unless you can run a computer model with all the input variables specific to your installation. The variables include your latitude, hours per day of clear sunshine, running hours, heat loss rate from your pool, size and efficiency of your solar collectors, etc...The bottom line is that you run the collectors as much as possible (dictated by your solar controller), and accept whatever it supplies. If you need a specific water temperature, you use a backup heater (natural gas or heat pump - not propane or electric resistance!).

Answer:	I have owned both vinyl liner and concrete pools. This head would be better for concrete. For vinyl liner pools, I prefer a vacuum head that has bristles on it. This head may work for vinyl, but it was designed for concrete/guinite.

Answer:	It works great for gunite. Just keep in mind that it is very wide so you'll get done a lot quicker.

Answer:	I believe so- we have a 15 foot by 30 foot oval pool and I think that is 15,000 or 17,000 gallons of water. We have had our solar cover since last summer and we are very happy with it. It is a good quality cover.

Answer:	I have not used this for an inground pool, but the pool type should not matter. As water is moves through the panel, it picks up a little heat on each pass. The amount of heat is determined by the number of panels. The only difference between inground and above ground pools that would be an issue is heat loss, which would depend on your environment and pool materials.

Answer:	No, but I'm not certain how you would use ties. We've used solar blankets for almost 30 years but never any ties.
Question:	how much will it raise the temperature of a 16 x
Answer:	Noticeably different I'd say doing it consistently for 5 days or so has raised it at least 10 degrees. I roll it up in the morning and cover it at night. Even at current weather (upper 70's in So Cal), I put the blanket on for couple days during evening time, temperature increased. If you want warmer pool without installing a heater, definitely get it. Just remember to uncover during the day (or at least during time when the filter is running) and cover it before sun down.
Question:	can you cut this pool cover to fit or does it have to stay the length that it comes
Answer:	Yes it can be trimmed to fit your pool. However, you will probably need to replace it within two years because it WILL fall apart and the company does not stand behind the warranty.

Question:	Can I use a submersible pump that generate 10 psi at the solar panel's inlet? 1.5 HP sounds like an overkill and involves high energy to run
Answer:	Given that our pump shows a bit more than 10 psi (four panels, connected in paralell) I can't see why 10 at the inlet won't work. I found these panels worked more efficiently (much higher flow) plumbing two intakes at one end, and one return at the other. There is more pipe involved, but i was able to use my existing Intex pool pump with about 18ft of head on the system.
Question:	I have a 14' x 40' inground pool; would everyone recommend that I buy two of these to go along the entire length of the pool, would one be okay
Answer:	Unless your pool is only 2 feet deep, you definitely need at least 2 panels. I have a 14' x 30' pool and 2 is the correct number for sufficient heating in TX. Rule of thumb, 1 panel for every 5000 gallons of pool. Also, you don't need to run them the length of the pool end to end. I have mine side by side up on top of the roof of my pergola. That way they don't take up as much room. I've also installed them side by side up on the house roof.

Answer:	A 4x20 package is two 2x20 panels with a short section of hose to connect them together.

Question:	How much is instalation kit
Answer:	The best advice you’ll get is to follow the manufacture’s instructions. Since this is a two part epoxy paint, it may be dry to the touch in one hour, it needs to “cure” for 3 days at temperatures above 75° and 5 days at temperatures below 75° before filling your pool with water. If you get in a hurry and ignore this you’ll have wasted a lot of work and a very expensive paint when it starts peeling off.
Question:	Is it a 2 inch or 1 1/2 manifold
Answer:	We use this product in Bikini blue at our Marina Pool. We do not add anything to our paint. It works fine.
Question:	If someone steps on this while walking the roof will it break
Answer:	With proper preparation, probably yes. Look at the Olympic (Kelly Technical Coatings) site for their application notes.
Question:	Is it safe for drinking water
Answer:	Depends on the previous paint. Check Olympic's website for technical notes. I used it on a previously painted gunite pool - paint was epoxy. Before that, I had to strip the previous acrylic and rubber paints with a high pressure (3,000+ psi) washer, before the epoxy paint would stick reliably,

Question:	How do i properly adjust valves to get best operation of these panels
Answer:	I just connected system to discharge line (2") to pool as source and then returned to same discharge line as return from sun exposure. Also included a 1/2" pipe at top of return end of system with a valve on it to allow for release of air which in fact takes time to push through.
Question:	If a leak forms can it be patched?? If so what is needed
Answer:	Depends on where the leak is. If it is in a tube yes. The mfg has a kit I believe.

Answer:	I use it for an in ground pool and works perfect. It will also work for an above ground pool if you have the proper piping.All it does is, that the same pool pump you have runs the water through the panels before going back into the pool

Answer:	I would not go with less than 4 panels. You should base the number of panels on the sf of your pools surface and the amount of sun the panels will receive. I recall reading somewhere that the surface of the panels should be no less than 60% of your pool surface if you want to gain any advantage by using solar. On a pool your size, with the panels in the sun, in Florida, four panels would give you a long swimming season. While I'm too cheap to use an automatic temperature valve for the panels, you may want to consider it. I believe building code requires some sort of safety device that will prevent scalding. I learned the hard way that if you turn the panels on late in the day that water coming out of your supply line will be hotter than McDonalds coffee. I live in SW Florida.
