Answer:	I don't see any easy way without tearing it apart and "maybe" rotating the housing 90 degrees. I'm not sure if that will even work. If you have room, you can always use a 90 degree street elbow fitting right out of the discharge housing.

Answer:	There is a slide switch that you select 110 or 220 volt on the outside end of the motor. Remove the plastic cover by the two screws.

Answer:	Primarily, what you see, is the diameter of the motor housing. 56y is larger. You can get the same power capability out of either but whether the motor will mount to your pump properly is the question. And a 1 hp with a service factor (sf) of 1.25 is not the same as a 1 hp with a service factor of say 1.65. You need to multiply the hp by the service factor for each motor to get comparable ratings. 1hp x 1.25sf =1.25; 1hp x 1.65sf = 1.65, not the same. 1hp x 1.65sf = 1.65; 1.5hp x 1.1sf = 1.65, same.

Answer:	I am a Pool Pro, I personally have tried to install this very pump from XtremepowerUS. I was to be paid $75 for the install. If you live where you get winters, I would probably recommend getting proper the water aeration and circulation for your fish with this pump especially if you have your fish hibernate in their pit. The pit needs to be at least 4 feet below the surface were the most of the aeration and the water circulation is at from using this pump. It this pond inside of a building at room temperature or outside where the weather elements would be?

Answer:	I'm no expert but I did some research on this. You can go with a more powerful pump than your pools rated for, but there are consequences. For one it will stress your motor IF your pipes can't handle the increased flow. Also it will likely cost more in electricity than a weaker pump.

Answer:	Local pool supply should have replacement box. Dont leave it on in the winter or this will happen every year.

Answer:	Mine is a 1 1/2 inch so it fits with my intake and outtake pipes. I'm not an expert on all this equipment stuff and asked my pool service store where I buy my products what to use. I don't know if Pentair makes 2 1/2 or not although I would think they would. Sorry, not much help other than the pump size has to fit the pipes going in and out of it. There 'maybe' some converter applications you can buy to reduce sizes, etc., but again, don't know for sure. I would recommend talking with your pool supply sources or contact Pentair directly.

Answer:	This pump will work with 230VAC power supply. The motor is specified as 110VAC/220VAC, however 115VAC/230VAC is within the rating tolerance and would be a situation which would be expected to be encountered in normal line fluctuations.

Answer:	The basket strainer is not seated properly so the lid doesn’t seal. The lid is not sealed. No gasket in the lid. Intake fitting leaks. Get the installer back.
Question:	where do you find the pump curves for this
Answer:	By curves I take it you mean the pvc connections that go into the threaded part of the pump. I found mine at my local hardware store, but I would think Lowe's or any place that sells pvc pipe connectios would be able to help. It took a 11/2 inch fine threaded male fittingto fit the pump and 11/2 pipe union for the rest of my connections. Check your lines to make sure of the size that you have on your old pump and buy fittings for that size. Hope this helps.
