They have a very useful app for this. You also have to decide whether to cover it or not (not covering it results in energy bills 2x as high and depending where you live the heater might not keep up all year). In central Texas with an 18000 gallon pool, running the heat pump year round, with a water temperature of 86 degrees, electricity cost of 11 cents/kWh (you might have lower cost), and covered the cost per year is $1676.15. This is inexpensive relative to alternatives - natural gas would be $5265, propane would be $6852, and standard electric would be $8551. The monthly range for my pool is a high of $334.37 in January and $0 in July. As far as hourly, at an hourly rate of 11 cents/kWh the 140k Btu heater uses 7.2kW input so hourly running cost would be 79.2 cents.The cost really depends on the area. for this heater the important thing need to make sure enough water flow,suggest the pump not less than 200 wat (3600 L/ h), enough flow to turn on

flow switch "TRIPS" and when the flow decreases to NOT enough it shuts the heater down. That way if for some reason the flow is too slow it will not over heat the unit and it will not even work at all till the flows correct.

Answer:	This heater is fairly easy to install if you are a DIY but don't attempt this is you are not a handy man (or woman). I was replacing an older (15 years old) Jandy Heat Pump so I already had the power and plumbing changes were a bit tricky (since this unit installs plumbing from back whereas Jandy installed plumbing from front). I did have my son help me move the unit from my driveway back to the pad (about 50 feet) since it weighs nearly 300 lbs - used a hand-cart/dolly and my son for stability. I also put plywood adjacent to pad temporarily to allow for easier sliding of the unit off the pallet it comes on and onto the pad.

Answer:	The 140,000 Btu unit will heat a large pool. Of course a strong wind can take away 50,000 Btu's per day easy. Cover it to retain the most heat.For home use, and because the compressor draws 27 amps, you do not want to purchase a larger heat pump. But you could connect two of them, if the pump flow is sufficient for both units. I would install one, and see how well it works. If you find that it is not warming it enough in the early spring, then a second unit might be required. Chances are that if you run it 24/7 for a week, it will take the pool from 70F to 84F, and you will be happy with one heat pump. Your home wiring might not be large enough to support a pair of these heat pumps, and the cooling system for the house all running at once.Good luck!

Answer:	I do not have the manuals but here is the answer to connecting the hoses. The connection is for 1 1/2 hoses. Do NOT use the hoses that come with the dome no matter what.

Answer:	The hoses that come with it aren't long enough, and your filter pump probably isn't strong enough to pump the water up to roof level. IIRC, it does recommend not putting it higher than the water level.

Normal Operation:

The operation of the fit for thermostat is fully automatic. When installed properly it will turn ON after user have set the temperature by turning the controlling switch clockwise, then the heating-up indicator turns on. As long as the fit for thermostat is on, it will heat up the water to the user-set level and maintain the temperature. User can turn the controlling switch anticlockwise to a temperature lower than the current water temperature to turn OFF the fit for thermostat, and the heating-up indicator turns off. There is no separate heat controller for user.

Answer:	We have this over our pool lp gas heater, which it is more than big enough for. The dimensions of the pool heater are 32" across, 30" deep and 27" high. Plus there are pipes coming out of it. Like I said there is cover to spare. It is not a perfect fit but it sure does protect it from our many rainstorms (rust)here in Florida. Hope this helps.
