| Answer: | There is a flexible tube that connects to an adapter for your jet inlets. There are various adapters included with the fountain. Hint, do this with the pump turned off and make sure you clamp it down tight. You can also adjust the flow by moving the tubing on the connection to the jet. I also ended closing of another jet partially by using one of the included caps and drilling a hole in it to cut down the flow from that jet, allowing more to the fountain. There is also a weight to keep the fountain from moving around. It comes with a zip tie to attach it to the tube. It took me a few attempts to get it to stay where I wanted, but now it works fine. If it gets close to the side it will splash water out. I did not cut the excess tubing off until I was happy with how it all worked. |

| Answer: | The longest straight tube has a female fitting on noe end. You must use this tube before you can attach any "head" to the tube. |

| Answer: | No, technically the unit does not need a filter. On the pump you will see a plastic "grate" that is the water intake. Over time, this will fill with debris and clog up. When it does, just clean it with a stiff brush. This pump will fit into a box filter system if you want more filtering in your pond. I bought one on Amazon and it has worked just fine. The box is about 12x6x6 inches. I am sorry but I don't remember the unit make or number. Just search "pond filters" and you will see several models and types. |
