Answer:	Jeez. All pool cleaners get jammed every once and a while from debris, leaves, twigs being sucked into the mechanism. If you're going to buy and use your own equipment, you need to learn how to clean out anything it sucked up. With my pine trees, I might have to clean it once a week. To the other people replying--don't blame the product if you don't know how to use it. And yes, if you can't figure out how to clean it, do take it to a pool store. They'll probably show you for free, so great advice from the vendor. Yup, you do have to change the oil in your car, clean your furnace filter, and unclog your drains every once in a while.

Answer:	50lbs to fill it to the "full" mark. However, it spits quite a bit of that out. You'll want to put it on the "flush" setting when you first turn it on to allow the excess sand to spill out on the ground. If you don't, it'll blow it into the pool.

Question:	It can't be both, they work differently. it's either in ground or above ground. please list correctly
Answer:	Well yes actually they can be duel, depending on the installment - an in ground draws water up called lift - an above ground doesn't have to really lift once the syphon starts the pool water pretty much feeds itself with a boost from pump)( should not use an above ground on a below ground - but can use a duel or in ground on an in ground - would recommend using thick wiring regular romex like 12 or 14 gauge will cause the motors to run hot and shorten life of pump motor drastically (bigger the hose water flows easy) (bigger the wire electric flows easy) same difference doesnt cost anymore with bigger wire just removes the restriction that small wire can cause - I use 6 gauge to wire mine never had or have any issues runs great motor runs cool and never over heats - I would suggest 6 to 8 gauge wire - lower number thicker the wire
Question:	This pump is advertized as dual speed. how do you switch fro low speed to high
Answer:	I’ve never changed the speed. I didn’t know it was an option. However, the pump did get very loud after about 6 months. The O ring disintegrated in the impeller and caused the noise. The company would not help us. Paperwork says one year warranty but when I contacted xtremepower, I was told the warranty was fit 6 months only and we had just hit 6 months.

Question:	How much is instalation kit
Answer:	The best advice you’ll get is to follow the manufacture’s instructions. Since this is a two part epoxy paint, it may be dry to the touch in one hour, it needs to “cure” for 3 days at temperatures above 75° and 5 days at temperatures below 75° before filling your pool with water. If you get in a hurry and ignore this you’ll have wasted a lot of work and a very expensive paint when it starts peeling off.
Question:	Is it a 2 inch or 1 1/2 manifold
Answer:	We use this product in Bikini blue at our Marina Pool. We do not add anything to our paint. It works fine.

Answer:	This pump will work with 230VAC power supply. The motor is specified as 110VAC/220VAC, however 115VAC/230VAC is within the rating tolerance and would be a situation which would be expected to be encountered in normal line fluctuations.

Answer:	The basket strainer is not seated properly so the lid doesn’t seal. The lid is not sealed. No gasket in the lid. Intake fitting leaks. Get the installer back.
Question:	where do you find the pump curves for this
Answer:	By curves I take it you mean the pvc connections that go into the threaded part of the pump. I found mine at my local hardware store, but I would think Lowe's or any place that sells pvc pipe connectios would be able to help. It took a 11/2 inch fine threaded male fittingto fit the pump and 11/2 pipe union for the rest of my connections. Check your lines to make sure of the size that you have on your old pump and buy fittings for that size. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I'm no expert but I did some research on this. You can go with a more powerful pump than your pools rated for, but there are consequences. For one it will stress your motor IF your pipes can't handle the increased flow. Also it will likely cost more in electricity than a weaker pump.

Answer:	No. It’s just a pump. You can use it with a sand filter, though. That’s how mine is hooked up. The hose from my skimmer runs to this pump and then another hose is connected to the sand filter and then finally back into the pool.

Answer:	The pump runs on 240 volts, you need a circuit breaker that gives you two 120 volt circuits on different phases so you get a total of 240 volts, and not just 2 - 120 volt lines.

If you live where you get winters, I would probably recommend getting proper the water aeration and circulation for your fish with this pump especially if you have your fish hibernate in their pit. The pit needs to be at least 4 feet below the surface were the most of the aeration and the water circulation is at from using this pump. It this pond inside of a building at room temperature or outside where the weather elements would be?
