Answer:	There is a chart in the instructions that gives you a basic idea, but yes just keep checking your chlorine level. If it starts getting too high cut back it’s run time if it gets too low run it longer each day.

Answer:	This runs on time. Set it for the amount of time needed to keep the chlorine level within range. Personally I am finding it does not generate enough chlorine even at 10 hours for my 20 foot round pool so I still have a chlorine float set for minimum release. This works for me but every pool will be different, depending on size, use and exposure to sun.

Answer:	I was using it for a 220 Volt Pump at our other house in Indiana for a Sprinkler system. It was a few years back and I don't remember how I hooked it up. We still use it and you can remote to it very far away (300ft+). My father uses it because he is paralyzed. Next time I go out I can look. Send this message again at the end of March. Answer:	I would not advise using it unless it's a foot pedal one. The tube isn't that large but it does take a lot of air to inflate. I personally used my shop vac, switched the hose to blow outwards and taped it onto the tube. Filled up the tube in less than 5 secs.

Answer:	Foam sounds like a good idea, but it might just grow a bunch of mold.. We put ours on the exposed aggregate patio. Yes...we did...but I went to the local furniture store and asked if they had some LARGE pieces of thick cardboard. They were happy to send me with what was needed. We have the 10' pool so I used a string tied to a nail and scribed out a 10.5' circle then cut it out. This went under the pool and was covered with a tarp to help keep the cardboard from deteriorating over the summer. The cardboard was to keep the pool from getting holes from all the bouncing around that the kids do and to give it enough cushion if they fall. It has worked great.I looked at buying indoor outdoor carpet but it was more than I was willing to spend.. Sooooooo....This year I hit on a sale at Harbor Freight (sorry Amazon) and bought a bunch of those Anti-Fatigue Foam Mat sets of 4 with a 20% coupon, making them 6$ each. I think they will work great!!

It requires software r1.5-current version for AquaRite Systems and 4.2-current version for Aqua Logic systems. Answer:	Most pictures you can see from on line advertisement are having the cell positioned like a “bridge” but the original Hayward instruction showed the cell positioned in a way that bending up. I heard the reason to have a salt cell position in that way is to prevent hydrogen it generates trapped inside the cell if pump flow is not strong enough. On the other hand, this Nu Cobalt cell can be mounted in a “bridge” look position if the pump flow is strong. If the cell you had before does not have any problem and you do not change the pump flow rate, you can keep the salt cell in the same “bridge like” position as before and I would say it is perfectly okay.

Answer:	Hayward automation system usually operate at higher current and causes the cell to lose some of their life span. Some system have a very high inrush current that can significantly reduce the lifespan. For the reasons above we are not able to warranty our cell if you use it with the automation system, but it will most likely work, just expect a (much) shorter lifespan. This would be the least expensive solution if you are selling your house and need to get the system working.
Question:	I have t 1.59v on my control board. I want to replace my t15 with t9. I have 15000 gallons. Is this t9 compatible
Answer:	Sorry. As I have no idea what control board you have. Older version of the board does not support T9, only T5 and T15 is supported. Some version of the automation system does not have thermistor to help limit the start up current, so it will wear out the cell faster, so we can not warranty the cell if used with such control board. Please give us more detail (board and version number) if you want precise answer.

Answer:	I have a saltwater pool also. The reel is aluminum. The hardware is steel with chrome plating, the legs are steel with plated chrome plating and rubber and the wheels are steel with painted hubs. So far after owning this 4 years I believe, it’s performed and lasted well. I have had trouble with the Velcro straps though and the plastic grips to attach the solar cover to the Velcro strips on the reel. Very cheesy way to mount.
Question:	Is this reel adjustable, meaning if I buy a 20 foot, can the pole be 16 feet, without the extra length
Answer:	Yes. When you put it together there is two sections that slide, one inside the other. Like a curtain rod, you adjust the length you need. So, it supports up to 21 foot in length, you only need 16 foot, you initially adjust it to your need. If you look closely at the photo, you'll see the difference in circumference at the half way mark.

Answer:	yes the clips do puncture the cover but thats how they attach to the cover, the straps then attach to the reel with a sticky substance and velcro pieces, but the sticky doesnt last long, my husband actually drilled the straps onto the real with screws and that keeps the straps in perfectly. i dont know what hooks your reffering to though..

Answer:	The cover we received was blue and 12mil, but I believe that there is a cover that's silver/grey in color,supposedly more heat reflective into the water. (Also more expensive.)

Answer:	You can cut to have an over lap up the sides of the pool it helps to keep the leaves out of the pool, if you have a reel to roll it up for storage, it must be the same width of your reel poles.
