Question:	Would this pickup dirt from a water fountain? I know it can do debris but I have like fine silt sand that I need to get out of the fountain
Answer:	I think it would pick it up. The only question would be if the silt was so fine it might actually go through the filter back into the fountain. If this happened, you don't have to drain the water back into the fountain.. just hold all the water / silt in the catch tube and then drain it on the ground. Hope this helps.
Question:	Could this be used in a kiddie pool? Or must the shamber be submerged fully in water in order to suck up debris
Answer:	It's not really designed to be used in shallow water. The chamber "sucks" better the deeper it is submerged. If you were to lay it on its side in a kiddie pool, and it's underwater, it will pull water (and debris) into it but not with much force. If it's 1-3 feet or more underwater it has a lot of pull. For your kiddie pool this is probably not so much bang for your buck. But then again I'm not sure what would work better for cheaper. Good luck.

Answer:	Only if the fountain is deeper than the large part of the unit and the area to be cleaned is small. The cleaning vacuum is of very short duration.
Question:	How do i remove the filter to clean it
Answer:	The bottom plastic screws off so that the dirty filter can be cleaned. Just use a water hose to wash it out. A tip...keep it straight up while doing so or your dirt will get in the barrel and you will have to clean that too...a minor thing, just wash it out (but I try not to make extra work). It is a nifty gadget...simple concept, inexpensive.

Answer:	Sure, as long as you can reach that area in the pool. Above ground pool vacuums usually have softer brush bristles, so the only downside is your brush might wear out faster on the in-ground pool plaster.

Answer:	This will not work in a 30 foot deep. The triangular part can't be removed with the exception of putting the batteries in the chamber.

Answer:	It comes with a very short pole, but unless you are Hercules don't buy it. It doesn't have an on/off switch so it has to be opened and closed to turn it on and off. Sounds simple but it is ridiculously difficult. And be prepared to take the entire thing apart each time you use it otherwise the contacts corrode. I read both issues in other reviews and bought it anyway....Stupid me!
Question:	my broom somehow got water in it and now it won't work after it's dried out. Does anyone know if this can be fixed
Answer:	Same thing happened to mine . . . took it apart and let it air out -- no success! I think there's a flaw in the design because it should be waterproof or not able to get water in it all . . . this thing is terrible!

Answer:	I am able to use mine in about 4" of water. The key is that the base where the attachments hook on must be in the water.

Answer:	It has an attachment to pick up larger items such as leaves but I have only had luck with it on small debris and sand. I have found that it works much better if I use my pool brush to push the sand and debris into one location, let it settle and then use the wand.

Answer:	Absolutely! You sort of drag or swipe the bottom of the cleaner across the bottom surface of pool while pulling up the suction cylinder. I use it in my spa which is deeper but it would work the same in 8-10 " of water also.
Question:	will this product work to remove acacia tree leaves and pods (approx 1"x3") that fall into my pool and collect around the drain
Answer:	The unit is actually for smaller pieces. I've picked up pieces up to 1/2", with no issues. However, I would not recommend to pull up entire leaves. I would suggest a skimmer net with a long handle, instead. I will also point out that the unit only has a reach of about 7 ft. If you are trying to use it on a full sized pool, you will probably have to get into the water to do so.

Answer:	No, it can't go rancid. It will try to solidify if it gets cold but this neem is not as solid (as though it straight from the tree) as some other brands. If it solidifies you can place the bottle in a bowl of warm water so it can melt. Don't put it in the microwave and don't heat it on the stove or in a pot. Heating it like that will kill the healing properties. Neem smells really, really, really bad so mix it with olive oil or lavender oil or anything. After you put it on your skin or hair the smell goes away after a few hours. Aslo, it only smells while it's in the bottle. Once you put it on your skin it doesn't smell so bad and you only need one or two drops anyway. Neem is GREAT. Good luck and be well.

Answer:	Wouldn't suggest it. I don't think it would do really good with too much very fine powdery silt like what's in a pond, it goes right thru the bag even with a knee high hose attached inside for extra filtering. That's when we use the manual vac on the pool to vac to waste. Try at your own risk.

Answer:	You must turn it on just before you submerge it and don't turn it off till it is out of the water. When you turn it off it opens the cap covering the battery compartment, and you don't want to get water in that.

Answer:	According to the data plate on the charger it's 10v out. Input ranges from 110-240v.
Question:	I have a Hydro Tools 8351 extension pole. Will that work or do I need a different type
Answer:	I don't know what a Hydro Tools 8351 is but if It is a standard poll it should work. Mine fits on the same poll I use for the leaf basket and bool brush.

Answer:	I just looked up Dr. Adorable wheat germ oil and it states "suitable for food and cosmetic purpose", so I am believing that you can use it for consumption. I use it to soften my skin but would not hesitate to take a tablespoon for nutrition. One thing I just discovered and did not know, if you put it in the refrigerator it will last longer. I have been using wheat germ oil for years and have never put it in the refrig. have kept it in the medicine cabinet and it has not gone rancid. Sometimes you can overthink stuff. Question:	Can some one recommend a inexpensive vac that picks up sand
Answer:	The poolmaster 28008 black magic jet spa/pool vac does a decent job. Not 100%, but I think it gets 60-70% of the sand out of my kiddie pool.
Question:	Got a fountain with wide but shallow (about 12" of water) bottom tier... lotta sand & a few small koi, so i don't want to drain. Designed for shallow
Answer:	Actually the unit works pretty well with sufficient water pressure. I suspect that those who could not figure out how it works didn't get it hooked up correctly because it works remarkably well. As for the shallow pool thing, it might work some but the bag needs to be submerged to work correctly and not sure 12 inches is enough water to allow that bag to get under the water. Perhaps a bit of modifying and it could do the job for you...make the bag smaller or more porous with say a cheese cloth...but the vac part would still work even in 6 inches of water because it does not depend upon depth to work. Filter is the issue. Hope this helps you out.
Question:	how do you use it
Answer:	I hook the garden hose to it, add either the bag or attach a pool hose to the large side and vacuum the pond. I must let you know it is hard to attach the hose. Very little room. I prefer the blue and white mini-vac with the off and on switch. Sorry
Question:	Would this work for a 135 gallon garden pond that is for my 2 ducks to clean the bottom from sediment of poop
Answer:	I do lots of pond, pool and fountain maintenance & cleaning plus we design and build/install in-ground and above-ground basins. The real issue of all the vacuum-type devices is that they require so much water moving through them to work very well. You pond will be almost empty by the time you vacuum all debris from it -- Really. Honestly, I have not found this nor any type vacuum device to serve very well. It takes too long, discards too much water takes too much time, is messy. Nothing beats the real thing. Ponds take real work with no shortcuts -- Ive found this to be true in my work commercially and in my own 3 pond/fountains the largest of which is 1000gals = 10' dia (round) X approx 3' deep. My best method is to 1) use a biological pond filter system which requires a constantly running pump 2) apply water additives which rely on microorganisms to reduce the feces on bottom to far less bulk 3) do a partial water change every month (1/3 the total amount of the water in the pond) 4) drain & clean the pond every 6 months for a duck situation or 1Xyear for fish or just plain pond without livestock. COMPACT SIZE / MIGHTY CLEANER

GARDEN HOSE CONNECTION

For quick cleaning of debris, secure the included VACUUM BAG to the top of the vacuum, attach the included QUICK-DISCONNECT ADAPTER to the integrated top nozzle on the vacuum, then connect any standard garden hose. Once the hose is turned on, you will experience the suction that is automatically created by this mighty vacuum and watch the debris funnel into the vacuum bag. Empty bag as needed.

VACUUM HOSE CONNECTION

For ultimate cleaning of dirt and debris, insert the 1.25 inch - 1.5 inch VACUUM HOSE ADAPTER (included) firmly into the top of the vacuum opening, then firmly attach the swivel end of a 1.25 inch or 1.5 inch diameter vacuum hose (sold separately) to the adapter. Dirt and debris will travel directly into your filter system ensuring a super clean result.

INCLUDES 6-PIECE POOL POLE

INCLUDED is a 4-1/2 foot 6-piece pole that twists together quickly. Once assembled, insert and twist into the inside of the integrated ABS pole handle and you're ready to clean. OR, use with any standard pool pole - simply slip the end of your pool pole over the integrated ABS pole handle and snap into place.
