Answer:	Thank you for inquiry III. Placing the cap back on the test is more of a hygienic method to avoid excess urine for dripping or unnecessarily touching the test strip urine soaked area. It leaving the tip exposed, make sure to lay it flat on a clean dry surface when awaiting the results.It is important to use a fresh sample collected in a clean dry sterile cup. Take the cap off to expose the adsorbent tip, dip the test strip evenly for 10 seconds right below the max line, and read the results at 5 minutes. Answer:	My doctor is testing at 20 is that crazy, told him I use cbd oil for pain, he wants to put me on opiods. I told him I put the cbd flower, yes texas sells the flower ! and i put it in a crock pot with coconut oil then use cheese cloth, put some in my pancake syrup and walla, no more joint pain ! Hell yes, the US government is so screwed up, they are trying to come up with something so they don't look like they been protection Big Pharma's billions for all these years and covering up the fact the plant does have medicinal properties. so stupid. But it is also stupid to test at 20 when most for jobs and such are testing at 50.

Answer:	The answer from DeanP66 is correct; the other three are not. While it's true that the testing tube has a color scale, that's for testing pH, not Chlorine. This test kit makes measuring Chlorine levels very accurate. Is it still pink, or is it clear? Simple. No guessing whether the color is this shade or that shade. As for the pH test (where the color chart IS on the test tube), I have to say I love how easy it is to read. With traditional test strips, I can never tell what shade of orange matches the side of the bottle, but with this kit it's always easy to see. Both the colored water and the color chart are transparent, so you look through both at the same time right next to each other. No guessing. Plus, there's a chart provided in the book that comes with the kit that tells you exactly how much pH increaser or decreaser you'll need to bring things into balance. No more back and forth from adding too much and needing to compensate back the other way. You get it right the first time every time. If you want accurate measurements with no more guesswork, this is a great kit. Plus, you get to pretend you're a doing a science experiment! In the box there are only vessels for filling with water, but there are no chemicals for conducting tests at home. There is only one test tube for testing water at home for bacterial contamination. Question:	Is there a way I can get a refill of the pH regeant only
Answer:	Well this unit holds about 5 gallons of water, each flush is less then quater of gallon depending how many times you pump to dispose the waste. 1 to 3 flushes should do it. It has a decent pressure, not like a real toilet but enough to clean the bowl. I took it with me camping and I had three females ranging from 7 and 34 years, of age. Believe it or not I only had to dispose the waste every two to three days depending on use.

Achieve Balanced Water

1. Collect Water Sample

Dip the test cells into the pool water 18 inches below the surface of the water (approximately deep enough so the water reaches your elbow).

2. Dispense Solution in Drops

Hold the appropriate indicator solution bottle vertically and dispense the solution in drops as prescribed in the directions. Shake the cells three or four times to mix.

3. Compare with Color Standards

Hold the cells up to a neutral background in outdoor light. Match the color of the sample in the pH and sanitizer cells to their closest respective standard . Follow kit directions for determining Total Alkalinity, Calcium Hardness, and Cyanuric Acid (CYA) level.

Question:	Will the Taylor reagents work with the LaMotte meter
Answer:	Yes, this kit will measure both free chlorine and total chlorine. When performing the chlorine test, the immediate result indicates your free chlorine level. Let the test sample sit for two minutes, allowing the chlorine to fully react - now the sample will indicate total chlorine. In a healthy pool, there should be no change between the two. Question:	How often do the chemicals have to be replaced
Answer:	No, it doesn't use test strips because it's not electronic. It uses reagents and you compare the results to the color chart visually.
Question:	what is the correct way to check the chlorine in the pool water
Answer:	The Taylor K-2006 is far superior. It includes a test for Cyanuric Acid which this kit does not. You need to know your Cyanuric Acid (Cya) to know at what level to keep your chlorine. The K-2006 can also test up to 50 ppm in chlorine, this kit only goes to 5. This kit is pretty basic and if your pool is clean and clear it may be adequate, however if you ever get cloudy or green water this kit won't cut it.
Question:	I just received my tester, but don't know what the correct numbers should be. Is there a chart that give the range for what the readings should be? I have a salt water pool
Answer:	What do you mean by liquid chemical for test? It comes with 5 bottles to completely analyze your pool water. It is a very nice and thorough test for any pool owner.
