Answer:	I don’t think these test strips are sensitive enough to detect the amount of chlorine typically in tap water. Unless your tap water has really high chlorine content. These strips won’t detect anything under 1ppm.

It leaving the tip exposed, make sure to lay it flat on a clean dry surface when awaiting the results.It is important to use a fresh sample collected in a clean dry sterile cup. Take the cap off to expose the adsorbent tip, dip the test strip evenly for 10 seconds right below the max line, and read the results at 5 minutes. Answer:	My doctor is testing at 20 is that crazy, told him I use cbd oil for pain, he wants to put me on opiods. I told him I put the cbd flower, yes texas sells the flower ! and i put it in a crock pot with coconut oil then use cheese cloth, put some in my pancake syrup and walla, no more joint pain ! Hell yes, the US government is so screwed up, they are trying to come up with something so they don't look like they been protection Big Pharma's billions for all these years and covering up the fact the plant does have medicinal properties. so stupid. But it is also stupid to test at 20 when most for jobs and such are testing at 50.

Answer:	The answer from DeanP66 is correct; the other three are not. While it's true that the testing tube has a color scale, that's for testing pH, not Chlorine. This test kit makes measuring Chlorine levels very accurate. Is it still pink, or is it clear? Simple. No guessing whether the color is this shade or that shade. As for the pH test (where the color chart IS on the test tube), I have to say I love how easy it is to read. With traditional test strips, I can never tell what shade of orange matches the side of the bottle, but with this kit it's always easy to see. Both the colored water and the color chart are transparent, so you look through both at the same time right next to each other. No guessing. Plus, there's a chart provided in the book that comes with the kit that tells you exactly how much pH increaser or decreaser you'll need to bring things into balance. No more back and forth from adding too much and needing to compensate back the other way. You get it right the first time every time. If you want accurate measurements with no more guesswork, this is a great kit. Plus, you get to pretend you're a doing a science experiment! Answer:	Although a different product, this is identical to what we have been using to test our well water for the past 25+ years after going through the treatment system. I have used it for testing our campground water as well. It will give accurate results for as low as 0 or 0.5 up to 5.0 which is highly concentrated chlorine. I see no reason why the shower head chlorine can't be tested as long as you are able to fill the container with the shower water.

Answer:	This is not a product that replaces ANY pool chemical treatment. You still need your chlorine or other sanitizer, muriatic acid, CYA, Borax, algaecide, shock, etc. as usual. This enhances your usual maintenance chemicals. It does a great job of what I call clumping up small dust/dirt particles making it easier for the filter to remove them. It will not “turn you water blue,” but it does make the water crystal clear, and makes it sparkle. If you happen to have a liner with lots of blue in the pattern, it will make the water “appear” to be bluer, but all it does is remove fine particles, & makes the water crystal clear. I use it once a week, and dose after heavy rains. I’ve used it for 20 years, have tried others, but always come back to this.

Question:	Why does my chlorine/bromine square (1st square) turn blue? That's not on the chart
Answer:	Re FCL/Br pad turning blue means you could have a very high level of Chlorine in the water. Usually as it goes up the scale goes from a white color at 0 ppm, to pink to purple them off the scale 10 ppm+ could be a purplish blue color. If you have recently chlorine shocked the water this might be why. As the chlorine/Brominie dissipates this level should return to normal.

Answer:	Yes, these strips can be used to test any water. The ideal ranges displayed on our product's results key are intended for swimming pool water, but the readings also provide results as ppm or standard pH scale, so you can still compare the results to your desired levels.

Answer:	This will work but it's my understanding that salt water pools have a much lower chlorine level than chlorinated pools. Question:	what color are the strips before you use them to test your water
Answer:	It seems durable, but I returned mine bc it just wasn't working correctly. You need to rinse the sensor so kind of a pain if you don't have a fresh water source handy right near the pool. Also need to make sure the sponge inside the sensor cap stays moist, which shouldn't be a problem if used frequently.
