Answer:	Yes, it comes with a new wiring pigtail if you need to cut off and replace your current wiring pigtail. If you are replacing a KN COSM IB unit, you will not need the wiring pigtail as you will be able to plug the new unit into the existing connector you have installed.

Answer:	Both of my KN-COSM-1B just shut down. It's like a bad battery chirp every 30 seconds meaning the alarms are too old when you replace the battery and it continues to chirp. The date on the back is Nov. 2012 which would be less than 8 years. If the instructions say 10 years, that is incorrect or an improvement from the 2012 model that lasted a little over 7 years.

Answer:	If the CO level rises above just tiny trace amounts it will start to alert you even if it's not yet a "dangerous" level. I closed too many air vents in my house one day and didn't know that can cause older furnaces to not properly vent CO so this unit began beeping and giving me a reading. The other CO alarms in the house didn't go off probably because they only have one setting which is "OMG GET OUT OF THE HOUSE NOW!!!!" This one has different levels and alerts depending on how high a reading it's picking up so it was beeping at me but not going nuts to let me know the levels were rising but not dangerous yet.

Answer:	I also have multiple (6) dual sensor Kidde smoke detectors and two CO detectors working in combination over a single branch circuit with third wire for sensor intercommunication. All work just fine together. The instruction provide some advice as to placement.

Answer:	I have a Bestway 18'x9'x48" Rectangular Frame Above Ground Pool and it works on mine. I just had to remove the screen filter that goes to the return fitting but it works perfect. Picks up leaves, berries,small sticks and sand that occasionally comes out Sand Filter. This is my 3rd unit I've had. The first I purchased was one that was said to be new but was used and had leaky hoses, returned for refund. Second One that arrived was brand new but was damaged in shipping had to returned for refund. This last one is perfect so far and has updated single hose instead of the put together one. I Leave it running when grandkids aren't in the pool have not had to skim floor or water since. Note as others said you need a strong pump. I upgrade my pool to a Sand Filter,Saltwater Chlorine Generator, In Wall Skimmer and 1 1/2 Hp Pump.

Answer:	I was going to write a review about this as I just purchased it, but Amazon wouldn't let me do it saying they were not allowing reviews on it at the moment? What the heck? Anyway, I would give it a solid 4, maybe 5 if it had been assembled properly when we got it. It works now after my husband realized what was wrong. When we first used it, it would move across the floor of the pool, hit a wall, and then stop. It turns out that it was improperly assembled at the factory. After disassembly and careful removal of the cover of the drive assembly, you will notice that there is a large gear on the left side of the drive assembly. Answer:	The Intex is a fairly decent pool vac, but it will only pick up loose dirt and debris, like any pool vac will. Get your chemical balance right and use a hard pool brush (no metal!) to loosen up the algae, then use the pool vac to clean it up. I did learn that the standard 1500 GPH pump does not have enough output power to make this pool vac move. You'll need the 2500 GPH pump (which runs about $85 here on Amazon) and a clean filter to make it run good. You'll also find that the 2500 GPH pump does a lot better job at filtering your pool water.

Answer:	Wouldn't suggest it. I don't think it would do really good with too much very fine powdery silt like what's in a pond, it goes right thru the bag even with a knee high hose attached inside for extra filtering. That's when we use the manual vac on the pool to vac to waste. Try at your own risk.

Answer:	You must turn it on just before you submerge it and don't turn it off till it is out of the water. When you turn it off it opens the cap covering the battery compartment, and you don't want to get water in that.

Question:	I have a Hydro Tools 8351 extension pole. Will that work or do I need a different type
Answer:	I don't know what a Hydro Tools 8351 is but if It is a standard poll it should work. Mine fits on the same poll I use for the leaf basket and bool brush.

Answer:	Jeez. All pool cleaners get jammed every once and a while from debris, leaves, twigs being sucked into the mechanism. If you're going to buy and use your own equipment, you need to learn how to clean out anything it sucked up. With my pine trees, I might have to clean it once a week. To the other people replying--don't blame the product if you don't know how to use it. And yes, if you can't figure out how to clean it, do take it to a pool store. They'll probably show you for free, so great advice from the vendor. Yup, you do have to change the oil in your car, clean your furnace filter, and unclog your drains every once in a while.

How long can I leave my Dolphin in the pool?

We recommend taking your Dolphin out of the pool after each use to empty and rinse the filters and to rinse off any excess chemicals. It is ideal to keep your Dolphin out of the pool and stored away when not in use. If your Dolphin has a weekly scheduler, you can keep it in your pool for a week, but you will need to make sure the filter is cleaned.

How to set the weekly timer

When the power supply is switched on, you can press the weekly timer button to select one of the following cleaning schedules for the week ahead: One click: The robot will automatically work every day for a full cycle. This cycle will have the robot clean seven times in a week. Two clicks: The robot will automatically work every other day for a full cycle; that is four times in a week. Three clicks: The robot will automatically work every three days; that is three times in a week. A fourth click will cancel the cleaning schedule program. After selecting one of the schedule options, the robot will start to operate at the next occurrence of the programed start time. If the robot is working in the weekly timer mode, the weekly timer button will constantly blink between cycles. At the end of the week, the power supply will automatically switch off and you will need to reschedule the robot.

How to take the robot out of the pool?

Gently pull on the blue floating cable to bring your Dolphin to the edge of the pool. Once your Dolphin is in reach, grasp the handle to pull the robot out of the water. Place the robot on the edge of the pool to let the remaining water drain out. Do not pull the Dolphin out of the water using the cable.

How to clean the filters

Cleaning the filters are simple. Just remove the filter(s) from the robot, release the latch to let the dirt and debris fall out, and then hose off any remaining debris. Do not let the filters dry out before cleaning them. Clogged filters reduce the effectiveness of the cleaning. We suggest cleaning your filters every two months. Bag filters can be washed in the washing machine at 30 degrees, using a synthetic wash cycle, and allow to air dry. Cartridge filters can be clean in the dishwasher at 30 degrees. Although the filters may look clean, small particles may dry into the filter material and clog the filters.

Answer:	We have a 24 foot dia round above ground pool. Around the edges the pool has a 3 foot flat ledge that is 3-1//2 foot deep and then concaves in the center to 5-1/2' deep. Wanda will clean the middle bowl 3-1/2 to 5-1/2 deep very well but doesn't get up on the 3-1/2 foot ledge but overall we are happy with it. This is our second Wanda.

Answer:	Jennie, What happens is the Pool Rover will stop when bumps into something and reverse direction. Remember to lock the wheel axle at an angled position so it will continue in a circular pattern. This unit is excellent!! My pool is 18' round above ground and it cleans my pool when it has leaves and debris in about 15-30 minutes. It really is amazing. One tip I have learned about cleaning the bag: if possible, let it dry out a couple days then, empty it out, then rinse it clean in COLD WATER ONLY. Do not use any chemicals or detergents. Good luck. Let me know how it works out for you.

Answer:	This means a relay has gone out inside the power supply, and it will not engage for more than two so three seconds. Do not expect warranty service from Aquatic Distributors out of Mahwah, New Jersey - this is the company Pool Rover has contracted with to fix all of their defective products. I have been waiting for a call regarding my pool rover for 3 months from the fools over at Aquatic Distributors, and have since decided to deal with the Better Business Bureau. Next will be a false advertising claim levied against the manufacturer for contracting with Aquatic Distributors in order to fulfill their legal requirement of a warranty - even though they (Aquatic Distributors) do not have the prerequisite infrastructure to complete repairs. 5 People cannot service 5k machines a year. The first time I called I was on hold 50 minutes, the second time I called I was on hold an hour and 20 minutes, and the third(and final) time I called, I was on hold 2 hours and 10 minutes, just to get someone who was devoid of English - spoke in Ebonics and did not offer me any assistance. I will never purchase another pool rover, or deal with the inebriates over at Aquatic Distributors/Aquatic Degenerates ever again.
