Answer:	I don't know the number of microns but this canister " ultra find sand & silt" catches all the find dust left behind with the regular canister. You still need the standard canister for heavy duty jobs. Dr. A

Answer:	In my purchase of the unit it comes with regular canister I had to buy it about $50. But to answer your question the inlet of unit is the same for all filters the point is that fine-filter filed up soon by dirt and very fine articles so you have to clene it sooner (by one use) so if bigger articles are still remain you have to use again. In you area if you have larger leafs then you have to use with fine filter twice, it will pick up large leaves if it not clocks.

These are really good bags and outlast the Polaris ones by about 4x and even longer for the polaris sand filter bags that tend to last a month or two. I can use one of these for about a year. Sometimes it helps to open the zipper about a quarter inch or so to let air out if the cleaner floats to the top due to trapped air--doesn't appreciably hurt the filtering performance.

But the bag itself on those is the 280 style. These bags have a square hole. I believe they were only used for the 360 and 380 designs.

Answer:	Yes, that is correct. You do not remove the mesh from the plastic neck. This is a “plug and play” replacement bag.

Answer:	There are two ways to remove the bag. 1 - twist the plastic connector ring and pull up OR squeeze the two friction tabs together and pull up. There are two models of the 280 /480 polaris, the model will determine the method of removal. Older models will have two slots in the connector ring where the bag ring tabs engages the cleaner.
Question:	The photos show it comes with the sight glass but one of the questions answered says it does not come with one. Can the seller provide clarification

Answer:	The Velcro can be used to attach to a quick release type "C" plastic clip that you can snap around the high pressure supply hose. It will hold the bag higher up on the hose in a more vertical position allowing pool debris to get into the bag easier. You can adjust the clip position with a heavy rubber ring on the high pressure hose to kind of stretch the bag out a bit.

Answer:	Don't know if this is what you're looking for, but this pump I got from Hayward through Amazon uses 150 lbs. of sand. On the issue of converting from cartridge to sand, iot you still have your manual for your cartridge pump, there are probably specifications listed on its capacity, GPM, etc. Then you could Google to find a sand filter of comparable capacity. I will say this for Hayward - I have owned their pumps for over 30 years, and I only had to call their customer service people 2 or 3 times...but each time they were EXTREMELY helpful. If you know your capacity, I bet they could tell you which Hayward pump is a equal. Maybe even a local pool dealer might know that??

Answer:	I don’t know if it will fit. I have the 360. I can tell you that this product fell apart. I would not recommend buying it.

How to replace the pool filter bag

1. Take the universal velcro bag on the top of the cleaner, the plastic cuff of the bag is the fixing element, which can be fixed on the cleaner during the operation.
2. Rotate or counterclockwise the plastic cuff of the bag to release the pressure plate in the cleaner body and lift up.
3. Throw away the worn or damaged filter bag.
4. Hold the new pool filter bag, align the pressure plate on the cuff of the bag and the arrow on the cleaner connection tube, and then slide down until you hear a click.
