Answer:	Cheese does work (just as in the cartoons), however peanut butter is the more attractive bait.

Answer:	I found buttered popcorn to be the most effective bait. The butter smell travels and the mice just love the popcorn. It's clean and cheap (I just save a few of the more buttery kernels when I pop a bag), as well as being effective. I actually lay a path of smaller kernels from various areas to lead them to the trap. Even so, you do have to move the trap quite often as the nest learns what areas to avoid when their brethren don't return from gathering forays...
Question:	They say mice can squeeze throuh the smallest crack or hole So wouldn't the peep holes on the side be big enough for them to get out
Answer:	Mice can squeeze through holes about the size of a dime. The holes on the sides are 9/16" by about 3/16", much too small for them to fit through.

Answer:	do you have the top piece slid on properly? They enter the opening and it’s like a see-saw ramp. The flap closes behind them so it’s a one way in situation. Then when you have a mouse caught, just slide open the top and they can get out. So humane! I release the mouse a ways from my house so it doesn’t come back. Have not had a problem with these. You’ll want to wash them out once you release-lots of pee/droppings in there from the scared little guy. Peanut butter crackers worked best as bait! Just a little one in there did the trick.

Answer:	This is a no kill trap but the metal door and platform do carry a slight risk of strangulation. I would use a 5 gallon bucket roller trap for your purpose, just keep the bucket dry. We had mice as pets when I was little.

Question:	So this works for typically house mice but is it a good size to fit a field mouse
Answer:	I bought this trap because the other types that have the door snap closed weren't sensitive enough to trigger with smaller field mice (young - newly weened size) and this is the only trap that caught the smaller ones. It is hard to tell if there is a mouse in there though because they tend to hide underneath the ramp. I only knew one was in there because my dogs were very interested in it - then I heard the mouse gnawing on something.
Question:	Is it okay to use this and catch a mouse while in bed and release next day? I am not using the single as too many say they die
Answer:	This is not the trap I purchased at Amazon, I purchased the single version but would not recommend it, it was ineffective and eventually the mice chewed it up until it did not work but I never had a mouse die in it. We used mice cubes and they worked very well. We caught and released about 60 mice over a two month period (yes we had developed a significant mouse problem), just bait at night and check in the morning, caught several mice most nights using 4 traps, never had one die in the trap.

Answer:	I have put a small bit of bait in, but also it is the placement where they run that gets them. This is the best trap I have used by a long shot.

Question:	Does this require the glue boards
Answer:	This was my situation, i had rats going the kitchen and they would come out at night when everyone was asleep. I used about 4 trays and also threw some protein on the tray. Either peanut butter or peice of wennie. That same night got em! They will squirm trying to escape so i grabbed another glue tray and set it on the rat like a sandwich minimized the rat from escapin . You might want to have a large box or large black trash can liner available to dispose of. I hope this helps.

Answer:	I've had the same problem with some of the traps. Try another trap. Also, study how the trap is made and put together. You'll see how the trap is set but the flap can move down and not trigger the jaw. Just have to adjust how you set the trap.

Answer:	I set them up so they are out of reach of dogs. I would have no suggestion for toads. In order for a rodent to be able to access it, I see no way to keep other small similar sized animals out.
