Answer:	It is an electrical device and is not waterproof. It works well outdoors but if it starts raining, it needs to be moved away from direct rain. It has worked well during camping trips as well as indoors when not traveling and has trapped many insects and mosquitoes. Being portable and re-chargeable makes it very versatile and we like it. I accidently discovered that it can even be recharged by a 12V cigarette lighter cord that comes with the Coleman red portable fluorescent lantern. So, you are no longer tethered to a 120V AC outlet when traveling.

Answer:	In bottom tray you put in the included attractant. When you turn it on the light helps draw the bugs in and there is a metal mesh that zaps the bugs when they touch it.Mine lasted maybe 10 hours of use before it stopped working.I would buy something else personally. Hope that helps.

Answer:	No it's a momentary switch, you have to press and hold the button. That is likely a safety feature. These devices can zap you, so if it were possible to leave it on, someone could pick it up it by the metal section, they would get a mild electrocution, which can hurt.
