Don't be confused by other strap claims where they say 1000 lb breaking strength so 2000 lb combined strength. Physics doesn't work that way. | Answer: | I just installed these. They work through an electric outlet. I am guessing that as long as the electric waves are working, it will work. I bought a few others just in case one of them didn't work. So far, they are working great. |
