Answer:	No. It catches beetles, moths, and other bugs, but NOT mosquitoes. Perhaps mosquitoes in Texas are more discriminating than elsewhere, or smarter, or something. However, if you want to catch junebugs to feed to chickens, this thing works wonders. But don’t buy it for ridding mosquitoes from your yard.
Question:	What is the Replacement cartridge for this unit? I see replacement bulbs, but not for the Ti02 titanium dioxide-coated surfaces
Answer:	Good question. My understanding is that the unit (the machine) surface (not the UV light bulb) is permanently coated with the Ti02 titanium dioxide which produces CO2 (a mosquito attractant) when it reacts to the UV light from the bulb. The UV light is, itself, a mosquito attractant. I place a small octenol CO2 cartridge on the grate just under the light to enhance performance. The light lasts about 3000 hours or 4 months before it needs to be replaced. The machine needs to be run continuously in order to effectively disrupt the mosquito breeding cycle. Dynatrap has an easy "How to replace the bulb" video on their website. Other than the octenol cartridge that I purchase from the local home improvement store and place on the DT1775, there are no other cartridges involved. Height and location of the Dynatrap unit must be about 4 to 5 feet high from the ground (mosquito flying altitude) and near plants and bushes where mosquitos like to hide.

Answer:	I don't know about the DT200XL, but it should say something in the item description about the size of property it will protect. The DT1775 covers an acre. We live in the a city, so we don't have an acre, but our back yard is heavily shaded, and we don't mind protecting our neighbors yards too. We have noticed a significant drop in the number of mosquitos. The unit is in our backyard, but we've noticed a drop in mosquitos even on our front porch. Before getting this, we really could not sit outside even in the afternoon because of the shaded yard. At dusk, it was unbearable unless you didn't mind getting eaten alive. So glad we got this...can't recommend it highly enough!

Answer:	I had an indoor flea problem. I didn't use this stuff but I bombed the entire house with a bug bomb. I may have even used two. It did nothing. Answer:	When these work, they are awesome. Read the instructions for you chemical, determine how much concentrate to add per gallon of water. Fill the container with any amount of concentrate, set the dial. For example, if you are to add 3 oz. of concentrate per gallon, just put the concentrate into the container, set the dial to 3 oz. and spray. The sprayer will suck out the concentrate mixing it with the water at the concentration that you set on the dial, in this case, 3 oz. per gallon. Problem is, these are a little flimsy, So I suggest that you put water into the container the first time to make sure it works right, then play around with the different concentration levels. Set it to the highest concentration level and it will suck the container empty pretty quick, that way you'll be sure it's syphoning.

Answer:	In relation to the CO2 tank levels, the problem is that the CO2 in the cylinder is compressed into a liquid with only the vapour pressure being measured by a gas pressure gauge. The gas pressure in the cylinder remains pretty much the same even when there is only a small amount of liquid CO2 left in the cylinder. In other words, the gas pressure does not fall linearly with the liquid CO2 level. As the remaining vapor is fully consumed, the pressure shown on the gauge will drop off very rapidly. This means that the cylinder gauge may read 900 psi until almost all the liquid CO2 has gone. That confuses a lot of people who check the gauge one day only to find that the next day the cylinder is empty.This is why we tell customers not to bother buying a gas pressure gauge for their CO2 cylinders. Actually, the best way to monitor the contents of the cylinder is by weight. Weigh the cylinder full then subtract the cylinder's tare (empty) weight, which is usually shown on the outside of the cylinder. The difference between the two is the weight of liquid CO2 in the cylinder. Thus when this difference has reduced by 50% then 50% of the CO2 has been used.

Answer:	To be precise, this unit runs on 12V DC and wall plugged power supply is provided (rated at 500mA). I don't know actual power draw but if you want, you can look for some battery unit that will provide 12V instead.

Answer:	Yes, mine has caught regular house flies, as well as mosquitoes. I notice it works best at night, when the Dynatrap is the only source of light, because the bugs are attracted to it. Because the flies are fairly bulky compared to mosquitoes, it's pretty loud when the fan blades hit them on their way in. But I think they got stunned or killed by the fan blades, because they did not fly back out. Note, this is not a "miracle machine"; you won't catch a whole swarm of bugs this way. But I would say it can catch maybe between 1 to 3 bugs per night.
Question:	Does it work well for mosquito's? Thats my only problem
Answer:	None, whatsoever. It apparently does NOT generate any CO2 and mosquitoes are not attracted to UV light. Ran it on the porch for three weeks and didn't catch any mosquitoes. Sent it back for full refund.
Question:	Will the dynatrap insect trap 7 watt replacement bulb work for this trap
Answer:	Per the manufacturer's website, the bulb is "rated for 20,000 hours and is not replaceable." It would be impressive if it really lasts for 20,000 hours considering the manufacturer recommends replacing the 7 watt bulb used by other models every 3,000 hours. For those without a calculator, 20,000 hours is approximately 833 days.

Question:	Is it safe to use the spray around cats
Answer:	The short answer is that it says on the label the it is safe to around children and pets. But, I don’t have children and when I did use this product our cat was safety keep behind the closed door of our bedroom with the windows open. You will want to open up all the windows to disperse the very pungent aroma of essential oils used to make this product. The smell is going to linger for days. On a more important note, I bough this product twice and had no luck eradicating any flying insects from our apartment. The smell of failure lingered while the flying insects put on a parade of newborns. It didn’t kill any flying insects, ever when directly sprayed with it. Also, be careful not to get any product on hard flooring like laminate, tile or marble because the oils creat a dangerously slippery surface. If you spray in the kitchen or bathroom make sure to cover food and/or toilet paper and hand towels or be prepared to laundry them. Wipe all food contact surfaces with warm soapy water that will clean up the oil, I use Dawn. I’ll wish you better luck with this product than I had. Another note, check every nook and cranny for any bits of food that has gone bad, we had a bag of rotting onions. It’s the places and things not so obvious that they continue to feed off of.
