Answer:	No, it does not add any voilet hue to hair. Although the color of the product is purple, it just tones down the warm orange to ash-tone in my highlights when used in shower.

Answer:	It is a nice shampoo but did not help maintain my Ashe Blonde hair (with gray undertones). I had to switch to a more purple colored shampoo to remove the brassy hair tones.
