Question:	Are they loud above ground
Answer:	If I sit right beside one, I can hear it, but it's not at all loud or intrusive. The motor and buzzer are right at the bottom of the unit, so should be quite a way underground. I actually think that it's vital to be able to hear them to make sure that both the buzzer and vibrating motor are still working as they do have a problem is reliability. Being an Electronics Engineer, fortunately I can repair mine as they break down !! But, when working, they certainly do deter moles :-)

Answer:	I put them about 12 feet apart in the center of my yard and then every few days moved them a little further apart to ensure I drove them away from the yard. They are now 45 to 50 feet apart towards at the outer edges of the lawn and no moles in my yard! Whoo hoo!.

How To Use Instructions

DAY 1: Spread granules over the undamaged lawn first, preventing mole damage in these areas. Also start treating the damaged lawn nearest to the undamaged lawn. This will start the process of moving moles away from your lawn. Water granules for approximately 20 minutes on a light shower setting. Water and Ground Penetrating Technology (GPT) allows the repellent to absorb into the soil more thoroughly.

DAY 2: Continue the movement of moles by spreading the granules away from undamaged lawn and towards the boundaries of your lawn. Spread the granules over the second area; water the same area as Day 1 plus the second area to get moles moving. Each watering allows the granules with GPT to penetrate more deeply.

DAY 3: Spread the granules over the third area. Water the same area as Days 1 and 2 plus the third area.

DAY 4: Spread the granules over the fourth area. Water the same area as Days 1, 2, and 3, plus the fourth area to push the moles out of your yard.

I have been using the product for two years and am most pleased with its ability to get out stains and make my loads smell clean. I have a front loading Maytag. My dealer warned me the problems i was having with previous Maytag machines was due to Tide. Perhaps if you call the 800 number not the box your will have better luck than I did with the website. One box really does 333 loads.

Answer:	Yes, I used it in my organic vegetable garden--and it worked! The active ingredient is castor oil, and the rest is sawdust, granite, and corn starch.

Answer:	I put this down last summer I had a huge mole problem and one Dady groundhog. 2 days I put it on. I hadn't seen any moles after and nothing this summer. One ground hog showed up again this spring I put it over the lawn again and I haven't seen him or any miles again. Worked for me.

Answer:	castor oil is the main ingredient and the supposed one that drives the gophers/moles away. we've had mixed results using it.
Question:	how long do the moles stay away from the treated area
Answer:	I have had good success applying the product every other month (faithfully). It is rare for me to find gopher mounds. There tends to be more mole activity in the Spring, but oddly they tunnel along the edges of my lawn. I suspect this is where the product is least concentrated. If you are a new user, I would apply monthly for about three months, especially if you continue to see activity. My geographic location is N. California.
