Answer:	I like to it it down late fall, just prior to the first snow. That first snow/rain mix will make it soak into the ground. Even if the ground were frozen at the time, it will work all winter. I don't think I would try applying it after a heavy snow.

Answer:	No it is NOT! I ordered this based on the previous answer and was very disappointed that it is only for 1 lb.

Answer:	Every where I see a pile of dirt ejected from a mole I punch a 1/2" hole into the tunnel using a sharpened 1/2" wood dowel. Careful not to touch the dowel or the bait. Moles are very sensitive to smell. Any human scent and they wont touch it. I then sprinkle about a teaspoon of the granular bait into the tunnel and cover up the hole. I also use the gel bait. I've ben fighting moles for four years now and I'm slowly winning the battle.
