Step 1: Lock Trigger

Lock the trigger by sliding the yellow button to the right. This will prevent accidental pumping.

Note: If you can engage the trigger, it is not locked.

Step 2: Fill Reservoir

Place fogger on a level surface. Remove the large yellow reservoir and fill only with Black Flag, Repel, or Cutter branded Fogging Insecticide. When full, securely tighten the reservoir to the fogger.

Note: Ensure fogger pump is free from debris before placing in insecticide.

Step 3: Plug in

Using a proper gauge extension cord, plug the fogger into a convenient outlet.

Note: Use only 3 wire, 10, 12 or 14 gauge extension cords suitable for outdoor usage. Never defeat grounding feature.

Step 4: Preheat

With fogger on a level, non-flammable surface, it is very important to Preheat the fogger for at least 2 minutes. If this is not done, the insecticide may not provide the desired results.

Squeeze the trigger once every 3-4 seconds for the optimal dry, white fog

Keep the breeze at your back and stand 5 feet away from where you are treating. Squeeze the trigger slowly and steadily every 3 to 4 seconds. Each pump will release a cloud of fog. Let it drift into the desired location amongst deep foliage, landscaped areas, or deeply wooded areas where mosquitoes like to hide.

Note: The effectiveness of the insecticide is dependent on the temperature of the fogger - making it very important that you preheat the fogger for 2 minutes. When fogging, every time you are squeezing the trigger, the fogger pump is forcing the insecticide through the heat-conducting coil. The heat instantly vaporizes the insecticide producing the fog. If the fog is thin and yellowish, the insecticide is too hot which means you need to increase the pumping rate to cool down the insecticide. If the fog is dripping from the nozzle, the insecticide has not had a chance to reach the optimal temperature; therefore, you will need to decrease the pumping rate.

Operating Instructions

1. Important: Allow The Fogger To Preheat For At Least 2 Minutes.

2. Carry the fogger as you would a suitcase, holding it about 3 feet off the ground and away from your side.

3. Pull the trigger, conveniently located on the underside of the handle, to start the unit operating. Release trigger to stop.

4. Turn adjustment knob clockwise to obtain a dry fog. With a dry fog, you should see no moisture on a 8" x 12" minimum piece of paper or cardboard when you pass it through the fog about a foot from the barrel. Be careful not to place hand in front of the barrel.

5. For continuous use (more than 1 minute), be sure the unit is adjusted for a dry fog or liquid will drip from end of barrel.

Note: The fogger should only be operated indoors by certified, trained Fire and Smoke Restoration Technicians and certified, trained Odor Control Technicians and only in accordance with the IICRC (FSRT) Fire & Smoke Restoration Technicians and Odor Control Technicians (OCT) guidelines and standards.

To be safe you should keep dogs or children away from the treated area for a few minutes after which it's fine.

Question:	Will this work in a ryobi fogger? How many weeks does this last after applying
Answer:	Absolutely! The ingredients would be safe for the plants and, if the plants were fruits or vegetables, they would be safe to eat. The active ingredient is a naturally-occurring soil bacterium.
Question:	Is the chemical used Resmethrin
Answer:	This formula contains PERMETHRIN, a synthetic pesticide. It is approved for use on food crops if the label directions are followed. See the National Pesticide Information Center for toxicity information. "Health effects from permethrin will depend on how someone is exposed to it. Dogs and cats that have permethrin on their skin may act strangely, and flick their paws, twitch their skin or ears, or roll on the ground. Animals that have licked treated skin may drool a lot or smack their lips. Cats that have been exposed by accident to products with high (45-65%) levels of permethrin may seem anxious and can't walk normally. They may also have muscle tremors and seizures and they may die from the exposure.When people get permethrin on their skin, they may have irritation or tingling, burning and itching at that spot. If permethrin gets in the eyes it can cause redness, pain or burning. If people eat permethrin it could cause sore throat, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. People that have breathed in permethrin have had irritation in the nose and lungs, difficulty breathing, headaches, dizziness, nausea and vomiting."
Question:	Is it an oil based formula
Answer:	It does not even drive away the mosquitoes. I did not notice it harming any bees or butterflies.
