Answer:	I bought 2. Mine has lasted since the Summer of 2015. One of them had a single bulb working last Summer (2018) but the flies were still just as attracted to it. It's Winter now but I just checked them and all but 1 bulb worked. The bug catcher trays got lost so I use canned pressurized air to blow out the debris (outside, of course) I use them in my garage and shed in the Summer and they work excellently!

I took a piece of furnace duct metal, cut a square init with a 1" flange sticking out the back , mounted a small bathroom exhaust fan to it. I then mounted the fan and metal plate to the back of the unit. the fan now sucks the bugs into the grid. Makes a 300 to 400 % improvement in bug kills. ( I should get a sizable royalty from the manufacturer for tilling them how to improve it.)
