When we just started out using it, our two trap grabbed about 10 flies each days. You're talking about 20 per day! I had to replace the glue trap every couple days or so. Now, after six months, I replace my glue traps every two weeks, maybe longer.

Question:	How long has the zapper lasted for previous buyers ? Mine only lasted 4 months. It doesnt turn on anymore. What do i do now
Answer:	I bought 2. Mine has lasted since the Summer of 2015. One of them had a single bulb working last Summer (2018) but the flies were still just as attracted to it. It's Winter now but I just checked them and all but 1 bulb worked. The bug catcher trays got lost so I use canned pressurized air to blow out the debris (outside, of course) I use them in my garage and shed in the Summer and they work excellently!

Answer:	I would screen your chimney. But yes it will kill them the unit would have to be close to the opening. Note this makes a loud pop when a bug gets in the gris. NOTE: Bugs fly in front of the grid but does not get in it. I took a piece of furnace duct metal, cut a square init with a 1" flange sticking out the back , mounted a small bathroom exhaust fan to it. I then mounted the fan and metal plate to the back of the unit. the fan now sucks the bugs into the grid. Makes a 300 to 400 % improvement in bug kills. ( I should get a sizable royalty from the manufacturer for tilling them how to improve it.)

Answer:	Something doesn't look right. This "upgraded" model has a Amazon date of 9/9/15. While the model that is not "upgraded" has a date of 8/17/18. Both the same brand and they both look the same except for the non upgraded model is shown with black on both sides.

Answer:	It is recommended to clean this device weekly by removing the glue board and replacing with a new glue board.

Answer:	Simply pull up on the bulb in order to replace it. We recommend wrapping the bulb in a cloth when doing so.

Answer:	Pipe gnats, sewer flies, drain flies, are all attracted to light so the Dynatrap Flylight would attract and catch them on the StickyTech paper. However, it does not control the larval form of these types of flies and by the time the flies get to the trap they may have already laid eggs elsewhere in your drain system. So I would suggest using the Flylight to control the flies, but seek out other abatement options to stop the problem.
Question:	Does this work on/attract flying moths that eat wool? I see that it works on pantry moths but I’m int’d in whether it works on the other kind eat wool

Freezing the food will not harm the contents. IF the tray is opened and the contents are frozen, the food should be consumed within 3 months, the length of time meats should be held frozen. Freezing the food in the tray could lead to a leak in the seal if the tray contents expands and puts pressure on the seal. Answer:	It is very good at attracting them, but not very good at killing them. It attracts 500, and kills 25. Made my problem worse. I will buy an outdoor and hang it away from the house to draw the moths away. This is also a relatively low voltage unit, doesn't arc them, kinda cooks them slowly. They fly in and out of the unit.
