Answer:	There is a small internal device that acts as a starter to make the bulbs light up. It sounds like that starter has gone bad. Contact Flowtron and send them the unit for repair.

Answer:	I've been using mine indoors for years because I don't really care about the bugs outside... I don't want them in my house. This model whacks bugs day and night. it doesn't stink... the hum is loud. Death to the flying insect.

Answer:	the UV light attracts a ton of bugs at night but day time not so much. The Octenol makes the thing a bug killing fiend but in day time it is lack luster and probably a waste. Every morning it is 100% covered and clogged from mosquitoes and i have to use my data vac to clean it off. I use the 1 acre and 1.5 acre one and both are 100% covered by morning but during the day they hardly kill anything. They work at night well even without the Octenol but it definitely helps to have it. I have terrible mosquitoes here and mine only kills a few so if you are not flooded with them it probably won't do much for you during the day. I have to go outside with bug spray at noon to keep the mosquitoes off -_-

Answer:	Dear customer, You can use this zapper outside as it designed to be. It's rainproof, which means you can hang it outside all the time. But please note that this zapper might not survive from gale weather like a storm/strong wind/downpour. We suggest you take the zapper back in the door when in such weather condition. Thank you

Question:	I'm thinking about purchasing this bug zapper for inside my home & also outside! I've got fruit flies by my garbage disposal, will this do the trick
Answer:	A bluish white and white things glow like under ultraviolet light.
Question:	Should the device stay suspended or can it sit on a table or ground
Answer:	This unit says it runs off 110V/60Hz of power. My best reply to this question would be that it would vary depending on the amount your zapper would be utilized. So if you have a large amount of bugs that are entering your zapper it’s going to be higher then the occasional insect. Also as to how long you run the unit would determine consumption. Do you only turn the unit on at night, does it run all day? I can’t imagine this being a huge amount of power consumption and I wish I could have a better answer for you, but I really can only say this would vary from customer to customer. I personally have not seen a huge variance since I started using this product almost 2 months ago. Hope that helps.
