Answer:	Put down the entire pellet so they can eat it. Do not put it inside of the bait home. That is way too small for field rats.

Answer:	I would say yes. It drills thru 30s old steel with ease so China steel is no problem

Answer:	Yes. The critical issue is having the correct bit. Since this is a 3/8" drill you need to be certain the shank of the bit you select is 3/8" or less but since this is a very common size you shouldn't have a problem. I presume you don't plan on making holes larger than 1/2" because with a relatively small drill like this it will take you a long time, particularly in a hard metal. Be very careful to follow instructions that come with the bit as some need a drilling oil.

Answer:	Same experience- the DeCon pellets work. The blocks made by either company do not work. Have tried the blocks with and without the wrapper. ( use gloves when taking off the wrapper...Odd that there are no instructions regarding the wrapper. Leave on or off. ) Bottom line is the blocks do not work. Pellets do, but they are off the market. My guess is for child and pet safety reasons. The warfarin active can kill and I guess if a hawk or fox eats a poisoned mouse.....Unfortunately, the old snap trap is the way to go. Glue traps are inhumane.

Answer:	That package lists “active ingredients” as sodium chloride and corn meal gluten. Sodium chloride is table salt. Corn gluten is a cheap milling by-product that acts as a desiccant. It is used as a pre-emergent herbicide for that reason. Cheap ingredients sold at a premium.

Answer:	Check with the Fresno County Animal Control please. This product is not legal in some areas of California and the fine could very well be far more expensive than you care to pay.

Answer:	Ground squirrels are typically smaller than red squirrels and it kills them, so I would assume it would kill them all. The only problem is that you have to be careful where you lay it because it can kill any small animal, if they eat enough of it. This is the reason for using the PVC pipe into the burrows and putting it down there.

This is a product that will kill the mice and the great thing is that mice do not have a lot of moisture in their body and will not stink, if you have Rats it will be different they do have a lot of moisture and they will stink for up to 5 days or more. please read the label and follow the instructions for proper PPE and use of this product.

Answer:	This is a "first generation anti-coagulant". That means an animal has to eat some every day for 5-7 days in a row to die. The result is a very low chance of secondary poisoning (secondary poisoning being when a predator eats a rodent that ate the bait). However, this also means that it often doesn't kill all the rodents either. You may also want to consider Fasttrac, it is a true "no secondary kill" product and kills rats after only a single dose. It also has a lower toxicity than other products if non-rodents eat the bait directly. I sell both. JT Eaton blocks are popular for the cheapest option. Fastrac is the most effective and safest. Answer:	You do not have a lifetime supply of bait unless you only plan on living a few years. All drugs have shelf lives. Buy small amounts only as needed and try to establish how old the product is before you buy it. In AZ the packrats will carry away your baits (if you are foolish enough to all it) and stash them in middens (usually out of sight and mixed in with nasty bits of cholla cactus) where they will remain for years until they are safe to eat by future generations of packrats. Do not underestimate your enemy ;)

Question:	Will this work for Voles
Answer:	Yes, the sections of the bars are difficult to break so I usually put the whole block in a plastic bag and lay the block on a right-angled surface(I use my deck railing) and smack one section off at a time with a hammer. Don't give up with the mice not eating it. If they have nothing else to eat they will find the bars. Sometimes it takes persistence until they are hungry. Good luck with it. I have to say my bars work!!
Question:	Can I just put the whole bag in a crawl space ? Or do I need to open the bag
Answer:	This is a box of 8- one pound packages, with each package having eight bars that you have to break apart. They are pretty tough to snap, and the crumbs go everywhere. If you are putting the bars in small bait stations, the pre-cut small chunks in the big bucket will be a lot easier to handle. However, if you are treating a large barn where you can hide the bars instead of using bait stations, this package of larger bars will do the trick.

Answer:	The rats remove the cartridge, take a few bites, then put it back. That's why the clips are rat friendly... Their other option is to go in the hole on the side.

Answer:	You do not have a lifetime supply of bait unless you only plan on living a few years. All drugs have shelf lives. Buy small amounts only as needed and try to establish how old the product is before you buy it. In AZ the packrats will carry away your baits (if you are foolish enough to all it) and stash them in middens (usually out of sight and mixed in with nasty bits of cholla cactus) where they will remain for years until they are safe to eat by future generations of packrats. Do not underestimate your enemy ;)

Answer:	Yes and no... It is an electronic device and any exposure to significant elements will take it's toll. However, as a testament to their quality... I've had one outside, under an enclosed patio (so no direct exposure to sun/rain) for over a year in the Florida humidity, and it is still working perfectly. I honestly could not be happier with the quality and effectiveness of these traps. SO worth the extra money to not deal with snapping/glue traps, poison, etc. Probably the most humane as well.

Answer:	Yes - Ramik 116300 kills rats, mice and meadow voles.
Question:	Why do they only recommend it for agricultural buildings and not around homes
Answer:	We have had an abnormally large propogation of Cotton Rats and Field Mice in the Texas panhandle this year, and I have found the Neogen Ramik bait to be very effective. I never thought about leaving the bait inside the bag, but suppose it would work well if the mouth of the bag was left open. Since rodents move along walls, pipes and ductworks, I try to place or throw the individual pellets into those places, as well as both sides of entry points. By scattering, I think you would get a more effective kill. If, however, you placed the bag near a crawl space entrance, it would probably get them as they enter or exit. Good Luck!
Question:	is this an anticoagulant poison
Answer:	This product absolutely works on squirrels & chipmunks. Im fairly certain that majority of the negative reviews claiming it doesn't work at all for any rodents, is solely based on the buyer not fully reading & following directions + researching the target rodent you're using it for. If you plan to use this for chipmunk control, you must use a bait station. This stuff attracts deer, raccoon, cats, dogs etc....seen them all on my game cams sniffing at the bait station. Also be aware that chipmunks do what's called caching their food, where they bury it in numerous random places. I learned of this after watching several hours of videos from my game cam where the chipmunk was going into the bait station, coming out with a nugget in its mouth, running out of camera sight & quickly returning for more. This went on for 6-8 hrs daily. Finally it began burying the bait within camera view, at which point I started researching & learned this is what they do, especially in winter when food is scarce. I panicked after seeing that it was burying the poison & i immediately went outside & dug up the poison- i know there's more out there but I have no clue where & that greatly concerns me as I have dogs. If you don't see a decrease in chipmunk activity, its probably because you're giving them too much. I fill one bait station, it gets depleted in 1-2 days, I then remove it so the chipmunk knows there is no more & hopefully returns to its caches of buried bait & ingests the poison. Hope that helps. Wish I could post the videos I have of the caching behavior.
Question:	Ive put 9 litte squares and the rat took them..what do i do now
Answer:	I setup one of my wireless Swann cameras and watched for a week as the rats/big field mice? popped out from my crawlspace and emptied the pellets one by one for ~20 min to an hour. Hoarding them? Every day, I'd fill the little plastic electric tape cover, every day the'd empty it. Near as I could see on the camera, there were/are 3 of the suckers. After a week, I pushed closed the little screen/flap cover of our crawlspace ad set rocks along the things so they couldn't get out of there. The other side fo the house there is a giant opening under where the fireplace is and I put another container of pellets for a few more days and watched as they once again, emptied and didn't die... Finally I set 6 traps in a semi-circle and watched as one by one they all succumbed to a thwack on the head. of course I still have 3.5 pounds of this stuff, so this time I'll set out a 3x1 board, place 8 pellets in a staggered row and nail them to the board so they have to eat them right there. I'll let you know how that goes, they are getting wary of the traps...

Question:	If the rats are stil alive, they can still produce bab rats. If we want to eliminate them, how is this product effective
Answer:	I have not actually ever had a rat in my house. Mice and squirrels, and I believe to a great extent even insects, seem to be repelled by the smell of the mint. Since they don't like it, they leave. My aim has never been to kills anything, but to deter them from living in my space and encourage them to seek living quarters outdoors where they belong. It really does work, but if you are infested, it takes time I believe. You may have to resort to trapping or something to get a whole nest out. This product is more of a discourager and repellent, it does not harm or kill them.
Question:	How long is it effective before you need to respray
Answer:	I'm not sure. I spray a little every time I put a bag with any food leftovers in it in the can. I originally said I thought the bottle was expensive. However, I'm finding it's lasting pretty well. It sprays a fine mist, so you don't use a whole lot of product each time you spray. The main thing for me is that my garbage is still intact. I haven't seen hide nor hair of a squirrel anywhere near my garbage since I started using it. I've noticed there seems to be a lot fewer flies and ants too. So far, I love this product!

Answer:	I bought this for a brief problem I had with ants which worked great on. The bottle does state it does repel: cockroaches, mice, and raccoons. It's the peppermint in it they don't like. I have also used pure peppermint oil on cotton balls in plastic baggies with holes poked in them. That also works well.
