Answer:	I would say no. It doesn't have a lot of support. The bars have no padding. The mesh is sagging on the seat portion on my husband's side(he weighs 190) after 1 season of use and that was with the cushion. It's not assembled well either. I had to find the some of the screws in the box and make a trip to my local Home Depot for replacement screws as they can not just send them. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes, that is what I did with mine. I even cut the legs shorter and drilled new holes because there is no reason for the long legs if you bolt/screw it to the deck. Do the best you can to fasten it to the joists, the deck boards themselves may not be strong enough...and don't use wimpy hardware.

Answer:	I'm not sure....... it is thick fabric but not as thick as canvas. There is no sheen on the surface . But it does not get saturated when it rains . On a sidenote be sure to get a heavy enough umbrella stand with the longneck particularly because of the umbrellas tilting ability . It has the tendency to fall over if not positioned correctly . Answer:	The difference is it’s not 9 foot all the way around the more ribs you have the more consistent the circle is and the size, when there’s less ribs on a supposedly 9 foot umbrella you end up with 7 1/2 at certain points which Is not what you’re looking for when you’re looking for 9 foot all the way around. So my advice is buy a umbrella with as many ribs as you can get on it to keep this size consistent all the way around

Answer:	Not sure of weight of umbrella without the base. I would go by what the box weighs to get an idea. Canopy edge allows adults to walk under. If someone was really tall, they might have to bend down. Opens & closes really easy. I purchase the base and added sand and water. Have not had problems so far. If hard wind comes up as in storms, always wise to put down.
Question:	Has anyone tested it for waterproofing
Answer:	I have only used it during a drizzle and it didn’t leak. Material is thick and it is well made, I’m very satisfied with it.

Answer:	We filled our base with sand. The pole slides right in. There is one self evident tightening bolt with a knob that locks the pole in place. No specs or details needed. Intuitive.
