Answer:	Standard pole diameter. I have never found an umbrella pole that had a different diameter. They all must fit in the stand. Most stands come with a rubber grommet/spacer that fits over the pole and into the open end of the stand. Most stands have a twist in screw/bolt that secures the pole.

Answer:	You unzipper it and pull it off, it's only a cover.

Answer:	Bought this cover about 9 months ago. The zipper seems to hold up the best so far for me. My issue with it has been the hole that has formed at the top from very windy conditions that caused the solar panel on the umbrella to poke through. I decided to line the top inside portion of the cover with heavy duty duck tape and that seems to work. The material the cover is made out of is very thin and not wind resistant. It is water resistant though.

Answer:	The zipper fell off the first time I used it. I got a full refund and purchased one from my local garden center (OSH) in California. I paid more but have had no issues with that one.
