Answer:	The back to this chair is stationary, fixed at about 30 degrees off perpendicular, with the top 8-9 inches angled a bit farther off perpendicular. This is a really comfortable chair, especially for reading. There is also a slight "bounce" to the bent bamboo. which I find delightful. We bought one and liked it so much we bought a 2nd one ~ hope this helps!

Answer:	The standard values that are posted on the inside of the case do not constitute a calibration certificate if you need NIST traceability. You have to request a traceable certificate at the time of purchase (but Amazon does not offer this option) or send the set to Mitutoyo for calibration at a cost of $65.00.

Answer:	It most likely what they use to calibrate the weight to accuracy. The outer shell is probably to hard to make accurate. So. they have something on the inside to complete the true weight.

Answer:	I'm not sure as I don't use those "non function" keys. Keep in mind, to use the traditional function key you have to hold the activate function key at the bottom left corner. If you don't, you can be in the middle of a game, for example, and suddenly activate a media player. It's mapped in reverse to the traditional keyboard. I'll try to test it tonight.
