Answer:	The smoke of these cones is heavier than air. So it flows downward through holes in the incense holder and form what may be called "smoke cascades". No fans, AC conditioners working or any air flow whatsoever in the room you are using them.

I’m sorry I can’t answer your questions as far as constant exposure living in Florida everything fades with the harsh sun and heat, so we keep ours in an shed put away and bring them out when we need them.
