| Answer: | Hello, I had over $600.00 worth stolen out of my traditional mailbox, maybe by a homeless. It had an empty coffee cup in it and I asked the mailman if he had delivered anything the prior day and he explained what he had left. It was three small packages, a camera lens, A silver metal from France and some small flashlights. Anyway to answer your question: I will tell you what I did and what I started to do. The unit has a bolt in the center of the bottom that comes with a hand screw knob similar to a facet handle. I used a concrete stepping square drilled a hole it its center and screwed it to that. It makes it all pretty heavy and I doubt anyone will attempt to carry it off, but they could I guess. What I started to do and probably should have, was to dig a hole in the ground like a post hole, perhaps a little wider at the bottom. Fill it with concrete either mixed or dry, insert the bolt allow it to set up, place the mailbox on it , screw it down. I have had it in place for a couple of months and love. I did have to replace the lock, because it was a type that was designed to keep water out, but mine kept the key out! Hope this helps! I would recommend it! Michael |

| Answer: | Not outside in wet weather. I have coated my bench with two cost of spar varnish, but still cover it when rain is falling. It is a very nice wooden bench - attractive , light weigh and sturdy. I have two of them. |

| Answer: | The bench comes unassembled. The package is about 5 feet by 2.5 feet by 8 inches. Assembly is pretty easy and the necessary tools are included. |

| Answer: | I just measured the bench I have , and it is 4'8" out side dimension. I like the bench , I have had it about 1 1/2 years. Holding up well. I did put a coat of marine varnish on it which not only protects it for light rains but improved the color too. When it rains for several days, and during the winters I cover it well, or move it to inside storage. |
