Why on earth the manufacturer didn't do this is beyond me - I had to find out by myself, and it was frustrating. Other than that, I think it's a good patio set, for the money. I would rate it five stars, but because of the sketchy, poorly-thought instructions, I'll only give it a four.

Answer:	I am not the manufacturer, but I did purchase the table and chairs. I bought a cover and covered my set “just in case”. I want it to last longer and I Wasn’t sure what the weather would do to it ...rain, snow etc. I too brought the cushions in. Hope this helps.
