Answer:	The Dirt Devil is rated for 120V and 2 Amps. Therefore, the Watt rating is 240 Watts. This is only 1/4 to 1/3 of the watts required to run a hairdryer. So the Dirt Devil should easily plug into any circuit in your house without tripping a breaker, even if another appliance or lamp is plugged into same. Compare the power draw of the Dirt Devil to 2ea 100W light bulbs + 1 each 40W light bulb...it's a no-brainer. Answer:	I don't know if this particular company sells just the hammock without stand. (They did when we bought it several years ago). But, I don't see why you can't buy any of the other brands, as long as it can fit the stand. The stand has a very generic hook. Just confirm dimensions and the ends for compatibility.
